Cleanliness of the room was bad and found stain on the bedsheet. The air conditioning was not switched on and the reason was not included in the room booking. Have to top up another ₹5040 to provide air-conditioning for the room and the hotel staff was very rude.

Check-in was at noon, so I arrived a little early and waited for the procedure to start at 12 o'clock, but they didn't do it right away and made me wait. When I was shown to my room and entered, the amenities (bath towels, toiletries, etc.) were not prepared. I asked if they could at least provide a blanket and bath towel, and they said they would arrive around 4 pm. I had no choice but to wait, but they hadn't arrived yet, so I asked them to bring it around 6 pm. However, the blanket sheets were dirty and unclean, so I used them as replacements.

Hotel sunrise in kanyakumari is in a very perfect location to view the vivekananda mandapam and valluvar statue from the balcony and terrace. Manager mani is very helpful in providing suggestions about nearby tourist places to visit and places to eat. Highly recommended for budget travellers visiting kanyakumari.

The stay was overall good. There was a slight delay in checking in but afterwards everything was good. The room was clean and all and there was a common balcony were we can have the street view. But we missed the sunrise view since we were not able to see from the terrace. So overall if you are looking for a budget friendly stay sunrise is good.
