I am a person who loves to just enjoy watching the sea waves, if you are one too…Maldives is the place to visit. Six Senses Kanuhura Resort is the best place to visit. We landed in the sea plane to the resort, it was amazing. The resort work 1hour ahead of your time to get the maximum of day time. The staffs are too friendly…they accommodate all our requests with a smile. We would generally love to try out new cuisines during our travel, Chefs there heard our requests and prepared the dishes with extra love satisfying our taste buds. Starting from the blue waters, Instagramic locations, Coconut trees, Water sports and what not. It is a place so calm, to relax and rejuvenate amidst the hot weather (sometimes the rain showers make you excited). A trip to remember and etched close to my heart.

We stayed in this hotel for a week. Nice beach and beautiful nature, the hotel was renovated and we felt that it will be perfect vacation. We stayed in the beach villa with pool and then in water villa with pool. Villas looks nice and fresh, especially beach villa. There are no sunbeds or sun umbrella at the beach villas, that made some inconveniences for us. But in other aspects they are very nice and cozy. We loved stuff in the restaurants and in-room dining, they always were so kind and made lots of things for us if we needed. Spa was good also, we tried some massages and felt very comfortable and relaxed. The problem began when we need to come back…Our flight is at 22.00pm and we asked the manager to talk with the seaplane company and ask if our departure can be later, but they arranged it at 16.00, previously telling that the latest flights from the island is possible even at 18.00 pm. At Six Senses island time difference is one hour, so that’s 15.00 pm at Male. After that hotel managers told us that if we want to stay in a hotel lounge we need to pay extra 77$ for each person(( It sounds so strange when guests don’t have possibility to check in for the flight 6 hours before departure, hotel stuff can’t help with our later departure and still want some extra money for just sitting where air conditioner is in a hotels lounge, so disappointing… Especially there are some other guests with such a late international flight also and they were with small child and they told them the same (( Finally wanted to focus on that previously we stayed in other hotels and we had such situations, but they tried to do the flight comfortable for people and didn’t ask us to pay for any lounge extra … So if you have late flight please be ready to pay extra just for sitting in a room with air condition and to spend practically all day there, hope this information will help other people while choosing place for vacation.
