Location: It is in the pedestrian street of the old city, the location is particularly good, you can walk to any place in the ancient city you think of in 3 minutes, 200 meters from the corner of Latin Bridge, 250 meters from the fountain, and the mosque is visible to the naked eye. A particularly good hotel, right on the edge of the old city. To be precise, I live in the scenic spot. Open the windows and the old city is full of eyes. Every time I come to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I choose this hotel. The off-season price is around 600, which is acceptable. This time, the staff at the front desk had a very good service, and the room card was prepared early. The hotel’s breakfast is good, rich in variety and snow-white tablecloths. It is very pleasant to have breakfast while looking at the historic sites in the old city. There were many Arabs and Turks in the hotel, and almost no Chinese were seen. The Latin Bridge is within three minutes of going out. There are many restaurants in the old town, and there is also a Chinese restaurant, which is convenient for eating. The BBI shopping mall is also a 15-minute walk away. However, a friend put US dollars in a bag while staying here, and left the bag after leaving the hotel room. After returning to China, he found 10 100-dollar bills, which turned into 10 one-dollar bills🙀. It should be the result of the hotel staff stealing their posts and changing posts, because they have already returned to China and cannot call the police. So, you must be cautious when you check in and take care of your personal belongings, especially cash.

No matter the room or the public bathroom, the hygiene is very clean. The location of the hotel is also very good, just in front of the Pigeon Square. There are many trams stopping in front of the door. Walk about 200 meters is the starting point of the 31E bus, you can take this bus to the East Sarajevo bus station, there is a long-distance bus to Belgrade. The guy at the front desk was a bit displeased and impatient about my poor English, but he still patiently slowed down every sentence and repeated it twice to make sure I understood? .

This hotel is in a great location. It's on the edge of the old street or the old town. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Latin Bridge. The room I stayed in was a single room on the top floor. The bathroom had a sloping roof and I couldn't stand up straight when taking a shower. But I didn't mind. The price was cheap, the single room was in a great location, and it was convenient. I was very satisfied.

BBilalThe hotel is within walking distance of the old city centre. With a steep climb though. Friendly welcome in a fresh and neat hotel. Helpful and friendly staff.
Our room was spacious and neat, but a bit dated in terms of furniture and colour. This made the room seem less fresh than in the photos on the website. The bathroom was clean, but the sealant edges in the shower cabin did not look fresh.
The breakfast was good with a wide choice. And different options every day. Unfortunately no good fresh coffee. You have to order and pay for this separately!
We were able to use the Finnish sauna by reservation. Wonderful without other guests!
Parking was well arranged at the hotel, free of charge.

GGuest UserThe room was great! I was amazed when I arrived at the hotel on the first day. I took a bus from the station directly to the hotel. I could find the route by checking Google Maps. The suite was super big, with a hall, two toilets, and a big master bedroom. The restaurant had a microwave and an induction cooker. If I stayed for a few more days, I could cook for myself. The whole hotel was very quiet, the breakfast was rich, and the front desk service was also superb. It was the best experience in Sarajevo.

The room was huge , the floor of the room was covered completely by carpet , a small window is present and a big bed. Daily cleaning is done. There is a river in-front of the hotel which is a plus. Toilet has good size and is super clean.
Location is good , very close to the airport and you would roughly need 20 minutes to reach the center by taxi. Close by there is small mall and loads of restaurants across the corner.
Old town is far from the hotel. Depending on traffic maybe roughly 20 to 25 minutes. Taxis cost like 20 KM one way.
I saw two restaurants, one up for breakfast & the second located on the ground floor facing the river.
You have a beautiful river In front of the hotel. I use to sit and do my readings every morning. Breakfast fantastic. Gym & swimming pool & the spa are all up to date and excellent.
My best part was the room, the bed, the bedsheets and pillow. Super super clean . I stayed in 4 top luxurious hotels in Bosnia but Malak’s cleanliness is the top. Unfortunately the hotel will not provide you with iron but they do have laundry services.
Customer service is just acceptable. Above all what was important to me personally “the room that gave me the feeling I’m at home” . Highly recommend you to book the hotel you won’t regret it.

When we arrived, we checked in with a really nice girl who welcomed us really well.
The rooms are good overall. A few shortcomings but nothing serious.
The breakfast is huge. There was something for everyone.
The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna and gym. Which is a plus.
On the other hand, it is not very well located.
In the evening, we stayed without dinner because no restaurant was open in the area.
There is a tram nearby to go to the city but it does not work in the evening.

GGuest UserFor those with time to enjoy Sarajevo Grand Hotel offers all you need as well as a glimpse into one of the many 'Grand' hotels with fitting that encapsulate the former Yugoslavia.
Breakfast although basic was within expectations for the price point. The 'Sarajevo 1984' Olympic colors on the chairs I thought were a nice nod to the past.
The room was modest but included everything I needed as a solo traveller and was cleaned every couple of days. Lack of AC was the only thing that made the trip slightly less comfortable.
There is a bar on a maisonette floor that serves drinks all day till around 11PM. The staff were courteous and helpful.
For those who don't have a car, taxi can be ordered from the front desk or you can walk 5 minutes to the Railway Station and nearest Tram/Bus stops.
The observation tower is nearby, the Ottoman city is around 30 minutes on foot.
I would stay again. 👍

The facilities are old, the indoor phone is just a decoration, if you need anything, you have to go downstairs to the front desk. There is no tea bag, coffee bag or kettle, the front desk said to go to the restaurant for hot water. When I arrived at the restaurant, the waiter looked ugly, waited for a long time to get a cup of lukewarm water, and thanked me as if he didn't hear it. It is full of state-owned characteristics.

IISMAILThe hotel is generally clean, safe and very suitable for a comfortable holiday. The breakfast menu is quite good. Eating at the hotel restaurant is not expensive. All these are the positive aspects of the hotel.
However, they keep your passport hostage at the reception and do not want to give it to you until you leave the hotel. I have no idea how they can cover any damage to the passport. and actually a great irresponsibility for the hotel. But they don't even care. Finally, it is very absurd that they ask for a fee at check-out for the water in the room.
