Presidential is an understatement for this superior, modern hotel in the heart of Sarajevo’s attractions, restaurants and pedestrian streets. Our Overseas Adventure Travel tour group was assigned to this hotel. The tour company could not have made a better selection. The room I occupied overlooked the river and the base of a mountain range. The room is beyond spectacular, especially considering less expensive rooms are generally assigned to tour groups. The bathroom features an entire glass wall with curtains to close for privacy. But why? Many of the rooms overlook a busy street and the river. Besides, who’d want to look at a 71-year-old geezer shaving?☺ Windows are insulated blocking cold and street noise. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and has all creature comforts. But beware of the minibar prices. There are small grocers nearby that sell wine for about 6 euros. Buffet breakfast was included for tour group members, so I don’t know if there’s a separate charge for other guests. The hotel staff are amazing and courteous. If only Orlando area hotels could learn from Hotel President Sarajevo.

There are very few reviews, just because it is close to the old city and can park a car, I booked it blindly. I couldn't find it on the navigation system, and it was difficult to park on the hilly road. I came down to find someone and walked around for a long time before I found the house number. The iron door was tightly closed. After ringing the doorbell for a long time, a father and son came out and confirmed the order with us in a daze. , and at the same time kept telling us ”no problem, no problem”, and then picked up our car and parked it in the garage in his yard. In fact, the navigation guide is at the back door of his house. It is very convenient to go out to the old city from the back door. The smiles and enthusiasm of the father and son calmed our anxiety. We settled down with peace of mind and used the kitchen they provided to cook Chinese food. We were quite satisfied.

The hotel is in the perfect location, scenic views all round and near restaurants, shops etc. It is walking distance to old town and a lot of the sights, like the cable car, the wooden fountain, historical mosques, city hall, eternal flame, museums, markets, etc. Take a short walk up to Yellow Fortress near the hotel for some breathtaking views! The hotel is super clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to make your experience even better! The room itself was huge, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fantastic, you’re given toiletries and tea, coffee etc. Used the sauna which is free and you book sessions with the reception staff. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, buffet style with a variety of juices and coffees/teas, ate so much! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I visit Sarajevo and Bosnia again, loved it! Thank you :-)

Impressive room for myself, with two televisions, living room, bathroom and double bed... Full of cushions and duvets for a family. Buffet breakfast, very good...there is a terrace that almost goes around the building to have breakfast outside (not the case, in April - 2 below zero). It is 5 minutes from the old town of Sarajevo, on a tremendously commercial street, meters from several museums. Ahh. From above, as it is a ninth floor, you can see Sarajevo almost from an aerial view... the most

This hotel is very convenient for visiting Sarajevo. It has its own parking which can be hard to find in town, and is located only a very beautiful 10 min walk to the Old Town. Rooms are good size and hotel is newer and clean. Front Desk is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. However - what causes me to give this hotel a ‘good’ but not ‘great’ is lack of attention to detail. We stayed 2 nights and left the housekeeper a tip after the first night. The next morning, and we didn’t realize it until it was too late - she had not refilled our coffee packets and also had not refilled the shampoo bottle in the shower (it was completely empty). This lack of attention to detail is a little peeve, especially after we left a tip. But I hope management addresses it in the future - because the hotel has the potential to be a 5/5 on TripAdvisor.

This hotel never disappoints. It’s my at least once a year spot when visiting or just passing through Sarajevo. I was beyond happy to find out that it has become 100% smoke free hotel; no more smoking in their sky-bar either! This used to be my last hang up on this hotel. Otherwise, it truly has full Marriott qualities. I love the hotel, rooms, cleanliness, food at the restaurant (except once in all these years), location, access from and to the airport as well as to city’s attractions, but my most favorite thing about it is the employees! It’s the old school staff; respectful appearance, approach, friendly faces, always going one step beyond. I love, love, LOVE it! It’s my home away from home. I definitely recommend staying at this wonderful hotel. Enjoy!

The room is quite big, the scenery is also very good, the location is very good, the first floor below is directly connected to the shopping mall, there is a large supermarket opposite, and there is also a shopping mall. It is very convenient to buy phone cards and exchange money. It is a landmark building, not good The only place to watch is the hotel, the sanitation is relatively poor, when you want to drink tea 🍵, you take out the cup, oh my god, it has not been washed, which is a bit surprising 😱, go to breakfast, there are many people, and no one takes a seat , a bit messy, it took 45 minutes for the waiter to pick up a car😂😂😂, but anyway, their attitude is still very good👌, so it doesn't matter, it's just a small problem, I hope it can be improved

The hotel is very conspicuous, with a yellow exterior that can be seen from a distance. Although the decoration is old, it is well maintained and you can see its former glory. The service is five-star, and the buffet breakfast has a wide variety of options to meet the needs of different tastes. The room is also very large, with a space dedicated to large suitcases.

The biggest issue is the renovation and construction going on. They are replacing the carpets and things are ripped up everywhere and the new carpets smell horrible. I was on the 9th floor and they were doing this one the 10th floor, or at least storing something there. I could smell it everywhere. Then, perhaps to cover the smell, they decided to start painting the hallway when it was full of guests! Now it smelled like paint and workers were painting and blocking the rooms. I complained about this when I checked out and the staff was very unhelpful and sort of muttered and walked away after telling me something that probably can not be in this review. Honestly, I tried to resolve this directly before I left, but the front desk was not interested so I said, okay, I'm going to contact Accor and write some reviews. The staff in general was quite unprofessional for this quality of hotel and need some more training. They lounge in the backroom on a couch in view of the lobby or play on their phones. The room was also dirty and the bathroom is very small. Breakfast wasn't bad, but crowded. The hotel is quite far from all the tourist parts of Sarajevo. I've had to alter this review a few times, so hopefully it will work now.

Outstanding
Right in the heart of the Old Town, this hotel has great views and really motivated staff. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they are very knowledge on the whole town so ask away! Bathroom was a little small but very, very clean. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Great sleep.
GGuest UserI consider myself as experienced traveler and this was the best hotel I have stayed in. Every single thing was planned in detail and delivered in perfect- best quality food, amenities in a hotel and the kindest people- reception, cleaners, kitchen crew.
Thank you for this amazing experience.
Definitely planning to come back.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: There is an elevator, I like the decoration style very much, the corridor aroma is wonderful.
Hygienic: clean and tidy, staying for two consecutive days, helping to clean and change bath towels in the middle.
Environment: Very close to the city center, basically no more than 200 meters from the attractions and restaurants that need to be punched in.
Service: Don't think about coming to Sarajevo, just live here, absolutely satisfied. . The staff is very good in English, there is no hot water bottle in the room, I called in the middle of the night and sent it upstairs, and also helped to call a taxi. I came to the Balkans for more than two weeks and felt that there was a value for money four-star hotel for the first time.
tips: Trip.com booked a stall that did not include breakfast, but the hotel front desk told us the price including breakfast, and the breakfast was really rich and delicious.
GGuest UserI came with my family to bosnia. We planned to stay at malak regency. We book deluxe suite with a connecting room. once we arrived i called the reception to send tge house keeping then after long time they arrived. I asked for tissues as there was not even one tissue box in both suite and room ! And there was only 4 hangers for clothes so i asked for more she came back with one tissue box only and no hangers when i asked where and how should i hang the clothes she was very rude and my husband asked for extra pillows she was literally screaming no no no … this is my first time facing this kind of stuff in a 5 star hotel. I am very disappointed even the suite is not that good not was i was expecting. I really don’t recommend this hotel and sure will not come again. I went to a supermarket to buy my own hangers to keep my clothes in the cabinet. What a 5 star hotel !!!
5590masamWe spent a wonderful weekend in Sarajevo. Aparthotel is located very close to the city center and is especially great if you like to take walks- city sights, restaurants, shopping centers are all located within a 20-25 minute easy walk. The hotel is situated on a hill so returning on foot can be tiring. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious and clean, but the bed is uncomfortable and it bothered us that the maximum on the thermostat was set to 22 degrees(which was low for us). Breakfast is delicious with a lot of options. On the 5th floor there is a terrace with a beautiful view where you can enjoy your morning coffee and a cigarette. The hotel also has an underground parking garage where you can safely leave your car free of charge. All in all I would recommend this place.
GGuest UserHotel Divan has a very good location in the old town. The biggest disadvantage is linked to that - a very noisy tram line passes it all day. We chose a room in the basement and the backyard side, where it was ok. The room was comfortable and furnished in a nice style. Air conditioning worked well. There were a fridge and a safe in the room. As the hotel is rather small, there was no breakfast buffet but some options served to the table. Anyway, it was good. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us good advice about the city. One disadvantage was that they didn't accept cards.
GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights, my nine year old son and myself. We paid £173 for two nights. The swimming pool was very good. Breakfast buffet is huge and lots of food. We are at the dinner buffet one night and also had the a la carte the other night, both meals around £25 for the two of us and more than we could eat. Ice cream each was £2. Close to airport but with windows closed you don't hear anything. Lots of local attractions. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, the waiters were attentive to my son and very kind to him. Attached to the hotel is kinderland, which is a soft play and trampoline centre all in one, superb value and you pay £3 for all day and can come and go, but it's not the UK, you have to be responsible for your own child. Table football was a mark a go (50pence) Drinks and coffee at the hotel were £2 for coffee or soft fizzy drinks. The staff were so kind and made sure we had the hotel number to ring if we got into any issues in town. A good hotel for all, the rooms were massive with a balcony. Do be aware that the cafe restaurant allows smoking I'm a smoker so I was happy As a dad traveling alone with my son, they didn't ask silly questions about where his mother was, the staff simply looked after him really well. The hotel is a great price for what we had, there is sometimes a language barrier but the staff do care. The swimming pool is very strict and made it clear children are to be with parents at all times. We would come back here
GGuest UserPerfect little hotel for the early morning train to Mostar! By taxi it's only 5 mins away. Everything is clean and comfy. They packed me a takeaway breakfast that I could enjoy on the train! The day receptionist was amazing but the lady in the night was clueless. I had to walk all the way to the gas station (~10mins) to get a bottle of water, because the room doesn't come with any. But she forgot(?) to inform me that the tap water is drinkable! 1:30am in my pyjamas to quench a late night thirst wasn't fun. Bathtub was a bit weird to use, as the hose didn't extend and seemed like it was only available as a jacuzzi/ tub format, instead of a shower.
孙孙A particularly good hotel, right on the edge of the old city. To be precise, I live in the scenic spot. Open the windows and the old city is full of eyes. Every time I come to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I choose this hotel. The off-season price is around 600, which is acceptable. This time, the staff at the front desk had a very good service, and the room card was prepared early. The hotel’s breakfast is good, rich in variety and snow-white tablecloths. It is very pleasant to have breakfast while looking at the historic sites in the old city. There were many Arabs and Turks in the hotel, and almost no Chinese were seen. The Latin Bridge is within three minutes of going out. There are many restaurants in the old town, and there is also a Chinese restaurant, which is convenient for eating. The BBI shopping mall is also a 15-minute walk away. However, a friend put US dollars in a bag while staying here, and left the bag after leaving the hotel room. After returning to China, he found 10 100-dollar bills, which turned into 10 one-dollar bills🙀. It should be the result of the hotel staff stealing their posts and changing posts, because they have already returned to China and cannot call the police. So, you must be cautious when you check in and take care of your personal belongings, especially cash.
IISMAILThe hotel is generally clean, safe and very suitable for a comfortable holiday. The breakfast menu is quite good. Eating at the hotel restaurant is not expensive. All these are the positive aspects of the hotel.
However, they keep your passport hostage at the reception and do not want to give it to you until you leave the hotel. I have no idea how they can cover any damage to the passport. and actually a great irresponsibility for the hotel. But they don't even care. Finally, it is very absurd that they ask for a fee at check-out for the water in the room.
