TownePlace Suites Kansas City Airport

The staff was friendly and informative. The facility was clean and comfortable.

Dirty and dingy. Surprisingly quiet though. Stayed here only because spouse was flying in on a late flight to attend a medical appointment with me. I would not recommend due to poor cleaning especially in the kitchenette area. Sink disposal with bad odor, coffee pot so dirty that I didn't use it. The staff at front desk were courteous and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

The room was very nice, but the bed was horrible. Very, very, soft. My wife ended up sleeping on the couch. The road noise woke us up a number of times throughout the night. The TV only got 4 channels and when I asked the front desk about it, instead of offering to send someone down, they asked me to unplug the HDMI cable and wait a while and then plug it back in; which did not work. We found a ZYN tobacco tin under the edge of the mattress which makes me question if the bedding had been changed. Unfortunately, it would not let me upload a photo. Lastly, continental breakfast was one of the saddest sites I’ve ever seen. Very disappointing considering the price.

Convenient to Airport I was flying out the next morning. It was just a minute or two to the airport. Cons: the room smelled like essential oils so much it burned my eyes. It cleared up after a few hours. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great shower and kitchen. I’ll stay again.

Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff and clean location. Very accommodating and helpful. We always like to use this location before flying out somewhere early in the morning as they have a good shuttle service.

Comfortable stay due to a long flight delay. Clean and well equipped with convenient shuttle to/from airport. Bed was not up to usual Marriott standards (too soft) but was good enough. Friendly staff! Good choice if you need to be at airport.

TownePlace Suites is a great find right by the airport in Kansas City. They have a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes which is free. Robin, the driver for most of my shuttle trips, explained that the hotel offers a free shuttle anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel. This includes restaurants and shopping, which is really important as the only downside of this hotel is there are very few places to eat. This was a very typical TownSuited if you’re familiar with the brand. Clean as a whistle, full kitchen in the room, great shower, and a lovely breakfast buffet. The gym is small, but very adequate, and although I didn’t use the pool, I took a look and it was also clean the plenty of towels. It is an odd thing to have such few restaurant choices as this hotel is one of approximately six hotels clustered together by the airport. They were very few choices for delivery as well. This was really the only downside of the hotel. Again, the rooms are clean. The amenities that were offered to look great, and the free shuttle within 5 miles to and from locations was a huge at a bonus. Kudos to Miss Robin we’re putting a big smile on my face every day.
