(6/1/24)As SOON as we arrived we mistaken the hotel for a poorly maintained apartment complex that hasn’t been updated. When I booked this hotel I went through a 3-party (Trip.com) on the booking it stated the the hotel had a pool and that was 1 of the main reasons I booked the hotel and it’s location, also upon arrival I noticed the pool was closed I was immediately upset. I spoke with hotel representative and advised her that I wanted to cancel my reservation due to false advertisement about the pool NOT being available she advised me that I would have to contact Trip. com since I booked through them. We left, we DID NOT stay at the hotel due to having access to pool and due to hotel conditions (the pictures were NOT updated of how the hotel really looks!)I have contacted Trip.com immediately requesting a refund, they said they have to wait to get confirmation from the hotel. It has now been almost WEEK later and still haven’t received my refund. Trip.com just contacted me back today stating “They haven’t received any response from the hotel” which is very disappointing and frustrating that Trip.com is partnering with a unreliable company! DO NOT book with Trip.com nor Baymont by Wyndham! The hotel location was Baymont by Wyndham Kansas City KU Medical Center! Unfortunately it this review will NOT allow me to submit review without rating.. Zero is my rating !!
