Our stay at Finolhu was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service and hospitality that made it so unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into their slice of paradise, where every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The Maldives is truly heaven on earth, but what made our experience even more magical was the outstanding service. We want to give a special mention to our incredible butler, Asma, who went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. She was always just a WhatsApp message away, ready to assist with anything—from organising dinners to arranging transport. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel so well cared for, and we cannot thank her enough. Another standout was Ahmed, who helped transport our luggage through the airport. His kindness and accommodating nature set the tone for the seamless experience we had at Finolhu. One of the most breathtaking experiences was diving right off our villa’s balcony. Exploring the reef and seeing the vibrant marine life up close was truly surreal—an experience we will cherish forever. The food at Finolhu was simply outstanding. With a variety of restaurants and an excellent buffet, every meal was a delight. The quality, freshness, and range of options left us in awe. Whether we were indulging in a fine dining experience or enjoying the diverse buffet selections, every bite was a treat. The resort also offers an impressive range of activities and excursions. One of our favourites was the dolphin-watching tour, which was absolutely perfect for our family. Seeing them in their natural habitat was an experience we wont soon forget. A heartfelt thank you to the childcare team, especially Paula, who took such great care of our children. Knowing they were in safe hands allowed us to explore the island worry-free. Our kids were always excited to go back, which speaks volumes about the fantastic care they received. The beauty of the Maldives is something that must be seen to be believed—the crystal-clear waters, the perfect weather, and the sheer tranquillity make it a destination like no other. To the entire Finolhu team, thank you for making our dream vacation a reality. Your warmth, hospitality, and dedication to excellence made our stay truly unforgettable. February is a great time, good weather, dry season. Main thing was some days were windy but still able to snorkel easily just outside our villas at calmer times. The staff were wonderful: Jin! Our Roohu, was excellent, she was very caring, all the way till after our trip, she made sure to see if we got to our next destination ok. She helped to organise some of the daily itineraries for us and was very quick to reply. Yoosuf at the dive centre was great and very attentive. I’d like to thank all the other snorkeling excursion staff but I don’t remember their names! They were all amazing. Some of the other staff members we came across, Charles at the midday activities and Ali at breakfasts, were very nice and friendly. The food was a VERY significant highlight of our stay. It was AMAZING! I’d say on the level of top restaurants in most cities I have been to. Highly recommend Kanusan. Arabian Grill also had nice vibes. The Beach Kitchen for buffet breakfast and lunch was fantastic, so much variety. We didn’t go there for dinners but have heard it is also amazing. Oh and also LOVED the Crab Shack, highly recommend the white party and watching the sunset there. It was like a dream. The villas were clean, the service was perfect and the island was well maintained. The activities were fun and enjoyable. We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not recommend this place more!

The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to assist. A special mention to our butler, Shah, who went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. His attentiveness made our stay even more special.
