Yunzuo Starlight Hotel

It's probably the priciest hotel in Kangma County. The oxygen supply was excellent, and I had the deepest sleep since arriving in Tibet, which was truly wonderful. The hotel breakfast was also very good, quite suitable for Cantonese palates. However, the only significant issue was the terribly foul smell coming from the toilet. We had to keep the bathroom door closed at night. When sitting on the toilet, it wobbled, and yellow water would leak out from the base – utterly disgusting. Moreover, the sink's drain pipe was also leaking. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel costing 500 RMB a night. Previous reviews have also mentioned the strong sewage odor. The hotel really needs to properly address and fix its toilet system.

We stopped at this hotel for a rest after visiting Yamdrok Lake. The facilities are pretty basic, but it was clean. It's perfectly fine for a stopover to recharge during your trip. We loved the scenery along the way; Yamdrok Lake is stunning, and Pumoyongcuo is equally breathtaking.

The hotel is newly renovated, and the bathrooms feature a practical wet/dry separation. The laundry room is equipped with washers and dryers. The provided laundry bag is quite good and discreet enough to carry around. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's an excellent hotel for this area.
