The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the hotel channels have different prices, so carefully compare the prices.

Kandy Jetwing Gallery Hotel A quiet and comfortable place to rest, service details need to be improved Overall, it was a relaxing experience to stay at the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies. I was lucky to live in a room facing the pool with an excellent view. The room is very comfortable. Every morning when I wake up and open the balcony door, I can see the pool and the nature in the distance, which is very pleasant. The hotel is close to the famous Mahaweli River in Sri Lanka. The surrounding ecological environment is very good and the air is also very good. You can often see various birds and eagles, which is very suitable for people who like quietness and close to nature. The swimming pool is my favorite part. It is open almost all day. When swimming in the early morning or evening, I feel that the whole pool and the world belong to me, which makes people feel relaxed. The restaurant is also facing the pool. When dining, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the tranquility of nature. After breakfast every day, I will sit on the platform to read or handle work. The atmosphere is quiet and the temperature is suitable. Looking back on the entire 20-day journey in Sri Lanka, this is one of the few places where I can read with peace of mind. The hotel is far from the city, and it may take 20 to 30 minutes of driving time for tourists who want to explore Kandy city. Secondly, the professionalism of service details can be improved. For example, there was a service staff performing local dances at check-in, but it was obviously perfunctory. After that, the hotel arranged a dedicated waiter and handed me a mobile phone for contact at any time, but her service seemed unfamiliar. For example, when I was in the room, I asked whether the curtains were manual or electric. After she answered that they were manual, she demonstrated and opened the curtains again. At that time, it was 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening. It was completely dark and there was no need to open it at all. The same waiter would ask me what I wanted to eat every morning at breakfast. I said that when I eat cereal, I always ask whether it is with coconut syrup or honey. I chose coconut syrup for four consecutive days, but I was asked again every day. They are all small things, but it can also be seen that service is more of a formality. In general, the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy is a place to relax and get close to nature. Its rooms, swimming pool and surrounding environment are all good, and the price-performance ratio is also high. If we can further improve the service details and provide proactive and considerate service, the overall experience will be more satisfactory. A Peaceful and Comfortable Retreat, but with Room for Service Improvement I stayed at the Jetwing Kandy Gallery during my visit to Kandy, and overall, it was a relaxing experience. It’s a great place for those who love peace and nature. The pool was my favorite part of the hotel. It’s open almost all day, and swimming in the morning or evening felt like having the entire pool and sky to myself, a truly serene experience. The restaurant also overlooks the pool, and dining there offers both visual and sensory enjoyment. After breakfast each day, I would sit on the terrace, read a book, or work. It was quiet, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. This hotel was one of the few places during my 20-day trip in Sri Lanka where I could truly relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time. However, the hotel has some shortcomings in its service. First, it’s located quite far from the city center, which might not be convenient for those looking to explore Kandy. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better.

The experience is so different to hotel living! Nestled in kandy, among luscious green trees, warm people and a personal butler - certainly an experience. While the loaded pictures are that of the tent - the tent is not a positive experience for everyone! We asked to move to the private villas at the top of the hill - where one could actually hear the azaan (call to prayer) 5 times a day from the valleys in front of you! The people at the resort: omg! This review matches my comments of that at the Hilton in yalla! Mr haleem, Mr Sanjeev and my personal favourite ❤️ personal butler Mr Nilantha Sisira Kumara - you are an outstanding human being- your attendance to us at breakfast - served on a table that felt like we’re at home, checking up on me when I didn’t make it for breakfast or lunch - and attendance to my laundry when I spilled hair serum on two white outfits! Mr Haleem - thank u for the complementary meal on day one! Mr Sanjeev, thank you for coming to check on the laundry to see how best to help me! Thank u to the warmest, kindest, most gentlest carying human beings that have cross my path in life! While Kandy is not a place I will necessarily visit again - I will probably come head to this very place to escape the hustle and bustle of life! Oh and the chef - you make the most awesome parathas! There were days I could have settled for just a paratha and a coke! Keep it up - you gorgeous human beings! I stayed at Jinling for two nights and it was quite good. The hotel is located on a hillside. The scenery outside the window is very beautiful. The temperature is several degrees lower. It often rains. It is very close to the Pink Post Office and the Governor's Palace.

Simply amazing—I truly can't find the words to fully describe how we felt during our stay at Goatfell. The best way I can express it is this: we felt like newborn babies, lovingly cared for by parents. Your team was more than just staff; they felt like our guardians, ensuring our comfort and happiness every moment of the day. From the moment we woke up until we went to sleep, the Goatfell team was there, attentively taking care of our every need. As a hotelier myself, I strive to secure the best experiences for my friends and family when I travel and can be quite particular. Yet, Goatfell exceeded every expectation and left no stone unturned. It was simply the best experience I’ve had. Every single team member deserves commendation for their dedication and warmth. Thank you once again for making our stay unforgettable.

wowwwww..... simply wowww one of the best hotel ever visited , from the ambience , location , food everything was simply fantastic . the warm welcome what they do to every guest by serving their home recipie tea along with doing tika on head made us feel super special . the checkin process was very fast and made our stay very comforable. would special thank king nobert who was incharge of restaurant , pradeep pastry chef ,shanmu sous chef, and many more staff who are the heart of this property which makes all the guest stay super special ..... A Special thanks to Krishna who takes care of tea factory she is the gem this hotel has. her warmth and love given to us was par apart , one of the clean hearted human ever met. must must visit this property ....
