wonderful stay at Debom Rest! clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. staff friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our stay. had dinner at hotel restaurant, avocado drink was awesome! food was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of both local and international dishes. breakfast was ok only though. overall will recommend for anyone visiting Kandy – we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located in a good area. Walking distance to Relic of tooth and some tasty restaurants. Views from balcony in suite room also fabulous. Drinks and service at the rooftop bar were great. Our waiter Nirmal was very friendly with impeccable service. Our one complaint is that we had no wifi connection whatsoever in our room or balcony. Asked for this to be resolved four times but to no avail.

There are many hotels and B&Bs on this hilltop, so the view is naturally good; the walkway is a bit musty, but the room is ok; the breakfast buffet is ok; the seafood at the rooftop dinner is not good, the shrimp is frozen; the rich people go out to walk the elephants in the morning, and prepare fruits when checking out, so that you can feed the elephants if you encounter them, which is quite interesting

The hotel with a sense of history, especially the elevator, is a bit interesting. It is very close to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Kangxi Lake. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. It is not convenient to park at the entrance. We have a breakfast and dinner, and things are quite rich. It is quite satisfactory to eat along the way in Sri Lanka. The hotel staff is also very nice, and the quiet room is so the view outside the window is poor.

Hotel Suisse carries a colonial charm that takes you back in time. The food is good, offering a fair range of choices. However, the dining experience was slightly marred by some worn napkins. The air conditioning in our room was a bit loud, but it didn't keep us from having a comfortable stay. I might look into other hotels in the area next time to experience something different.

The people at the inn were very kind, especially the lady there, who was incredibly considerate. The view was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Even when I was confused and didn't know how to lock the door, they politely helped me out many times, which I really appreciated. Thanks to their heartwarming hospitality, I had a very good stay. I'd definitely like to stay here again!

The hotel boasts a prime location in close proximity to the Maligawa and the lake. The accommodations are well-maintained and equipped with ample amenities for a comfortable stay. It's worth noting that the rates may be slightly higher compared to other lodging options in the area.

Stay for three nights. The hotel is heritage not recommended for a person who is afraid things stay alone. The location is perfect at the front gate of the temple of tooth relics. However, one male GSA do not respond well as I told him that the telephine is broken, the fridge inside is very hot and the light in the toilet is broken so many times. Until I checked out the telephine is still broken, the fridge inside is still very hot. But the light is fixed by an electrician who was recommended by male maid not GSA.

It is conveniently located in a quiet place though still very close to the lakeside. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and I really enjoyed my meals there

A good budget hotel located in the center of Kandy, easy to get to all locations on foot: railway, attractions, market. Suitable for a stopover for a couple of nights. Very friendly and polite staff. My room had all new plumbing. The renovation in the bedroom is not new. The downside is that there is a slight smell of dampness in the bedroom.
