Kandy Jetwing Gallery Hotel A quiet and comfortable place to rest, service details need to be improved Overall, it was a relaxing experience to stay at the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies. I was lucky to live in a room facing the pool with an excellent view. The room is very comfortable. Every morning when I wake up and open the balcony door, I can see the pool and the nature in the distance, which is very pleasant. The hotel is close to the famous Mahaweli River in Sri Lanka. The surrounding ecological environment is very good and the air is also very good. You can often see various birds and eagles, which is very suitable for people who like quietness and close to nature. The swimming pool is my favorite part. It is open almost all day. When swimming in the early morning or evening, I feel that the whole pool and the world belong to me, which makes people feel relaxed. The restaurant is also facing the pool. When dining, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the tranquility of nature. After breakfast every day, I will sit on the platform to read or handle work. The atmosphere is quiet and the temperature is suitable. Looking back on the entire 20-day journey in Sri Lanka, this is one of the few places where I can read with peace of mind. The hotel is far from the city, and it may take 20 to 30 minutes of driving time for tourists who want to explore Kandy city. Secondly, the professionalism of service details can be improved. For example, there was a service staff performing local dances at check-in, but it was obviously perfunctory. After that, the hotel arranged a dedicated waiter and handed me a mobile phone for contact at any time, but her service seemed unfamiliar. For example, when I was in the room, I asked whether the curtains were manual or electric. After she answered that they were manual, she demonstrated and opened the curtains again. At that time, it was 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening. It was completely dark and there was no need to open it at all. The same waiter would ask me what I wanted to eat every morning at breakfast. I said that when I eat cereal, I always ask whether it is with coconut syrup or honey. I chose coconut syrup for four consecutive days, but I was asked again every day. They are all small things, but it can also be seen that service is more of a formality. In general, the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy is a place to relax and get close to nature. Its rooms, swimming pool and surrounding environment are all good, and the price-performance ratio is also high. It was quiet, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. This hotel was one of the few places during my 20-day trip in Sri Lanka where I could truly relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time. However, the hotel has some shortcomings in its service. First, it’s located quite far from the city center, which might not be convenient for those looking to explore Kandy. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better.

Kandy Victory Eco Resort is truly a hidden paradise surrounded by a range of green mountains and birds. Overall Worth it, the room, petite balcony, and the view (I suggest changing the sitting concrete to a comfy chair pls), and the food was served warm (the presentation & taste were beyond expectations). Sudara the manager is fresh to the place and I was surprised by his clients handling the talent. All the staff were very friendly and treated us like a part of the family. Highly recommend and will love to visit the place again..! always follow Hotell's instructions on the route.! Not the Google map. Not a difficult road I was on my Aqua G’s

We spent seven nights here and used it as a base to see the central part of Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful villa overlooking Lake Victoria. The breeze passes through the house making it a very cool place to rest and relax. The rooms are large and comfortable with everything you may need. The staff is ever obliging and willing to accomodate most requests. The Sri Lankan and English breakfast are good with excellent fruit platters and freshly squeezed juices. The dinners are not gourmet if you don’t choose the local food but are absolutely fine. The Sri Lankan food though is excellent. The pool is beautifully clean and a welcome spot to spend some time. It is not licensed so BYO wine. They provide glasses and a fridge to chill it should you need it. Perfectly feasible to visit the tea plantations, the spice growing area, Kandy itself etc from here and have the luxury of coming back to the same bed. It is run by two delightful men and a chef who do all they can to make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

Because it was only a small break in Kandy, it was set up a hotel closer to the train station. When I checked in, I was told that I was registered as a person. Two people had to receive another 12 knives. It felt a bit pitted. I was particularly nervous about the hotel after a long time, because only one person's information was filled. Breakfast is not bad, 5 knives and one person, personal feeling is not cheap.

Good budget hotel, slap bang in the middle of the city but surprisingly the rooms are quiet as they are situated at the back. Booked room only so cannot comment on the hotel food, but plenty of eating places around and just 10 minutes to the Railway station. The entrance to the hotel can be crowded as it is with the pavement and there are street hawkers selling goods, but safe all the same and you get lots of cheap stuff that you can buy along the pavement. The hotel rooms are rather small but have the basic amenities in place and should be ok for couples. This hotel has easy access to the ATM nachines, supermarkets and bakeries. The shopping center is very close and even the historical sights light the Temple of the tooth is walking distance. Parking may be a problem for those coming in vehicles although I am sure the Hotel can arrange this for you. Please check though before booking. All in all a good stay, no hassles.

This hotel in Kandy will break your bad impression of the past hotel. Although this hotel is not big, it is absolutely clean and tidy, the floor is clean, and the room is also. Breakfast is simple but in line with our public taste. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, and booking17 is 9.4 points in the year, and it is highly recommended to love clean friends!
