Очень старый отель, ремонт, мебель и всё остальное. Из плюсов только близкое расположение к ж/д вокзалу и автостанции, и цена.

Из плюсов: горячая вода, временами кипяток и толстые пушистые полотенца. Чистая постель, зеркала, рабочие поверхности.

I don’t know who writes all of these favorable reviews.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, you cannot see the lake from the room. The facilities inside the room all look dated and in a horrible condition. I had to put the bedroom table against the balcony door to keep monkeys from opening it while I was away. Wifi does not reach the top floors and even when you can connect at reception it doesn’t really work.
They don’t accept card payment and that is a huge issue, considering how much they try to overcharge you for everything.
Breakfast is very simple yet they expect you to pay 1500 rupees?! Dinner, as much as other’s praise it, is your typical curry display, and I had to ask for the chicken because they would only serve vegetables. And that was almost 4000 rupees!! I have had more varied and delicious (and cheaper) curry sets in the middle of the jungle. The worst thing is that they don’t tell you how much it is until you already have to set the bill for your whole stay.
The owner was barely present and would only show up for dinner time. And he is the only one who speaks any English.
Please, avoid this, it is better to find somewhere cheap near the lake, this hotel should not be listed anywhere decent.

We had dinner at the restaurant which was a great evening. The food was delicious and the host played guitar. We then had a TukTuk tour the next day. The driver was really friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend!

We actually love the view which is the top of the mountain where we can Kandy. Decent room with the best view (Room number 9) with 3 windows and balcony has the best view in Kandy. The service is excellent specially the welcome tea we got with ginger and other species. The owner is very welcoming and has a beautiful voice when he plays guitar 🎸 after dinner. Tbe quality of food is super yummy and authentic too. Highly recommend!

Best Sri Lankan food we’ve had since we arrived over a week ago. Lovely variety of flavours. Great atmosphere. Wonderful hospitality and entertainment. Friendly, courteous owner and staff. We would highly recommend a visit to Sharon’s Inn
