We arrived much earlier than check in after a early morning flight but they managed to get our room ready for us in a matter of minutes which was great! All of our meals were really good, we could choose a English or Sri Lankan breakfast - both were perfect, we had lunch both days here too with complimentary mocktails, and tried the afternoon tea which wasn't really worth the price as we couldn't have it up in the mountain as we had hoped, and we got soaked! Still a lovely experience. The staff came and took our order for evening meals so it would be ready when we wanted. The Rice and curry was beautifully cooked and quantities were good. Prices were more than most other parts of the island but the service and view make up for that. Our cottage was a bit of a distance away from the restaurant but they have a tuk tuk to ferry you about if needed, or lovely to walk with a torch amongst the night wildlife including deer, frogs and lots of load bugs! Our cottage was outstanding, the bathroom was gorgeous, the views were just outstanding. The cottages are very private, so keeping the curtains open in bed to then wake up to that view was amazing! There are day trips available but we were happy with a walk up the mountain every day and a morning walk along the road!

Our stay was extremely disappointing, particularly with regards to the hotel management, specifically Anupa and Owner Sudharshana Bandara. The luxury cottage with a river view, chosen for its appealing plunge pool, turned out to be dirty and unusable for the entirety of the stay. The Greenwood villa, though clean, had issues like empty coffee, old tea bags with a moldy smell, and inconveniently located 150m away from the reception, making room service nearly impossible (we were refused tea to the room because of the distance- that’s when we realized how old the room tea was). The service was appalling; they initially demanded payment for ice and had confusion about the breakfast menu. We ordered continental, received a mix-up with meat in the breakfast, and were informed we might have to pay for it. Despite being on a half-board basis, there was a threat of an additional charge for a mistake on their end. On another occasion, when requesting continental breakfast again, they claimed to be out of string hoppers and limited the quantity to 15 string hoppers per person. Moreover, there was evidence of racial bias, as our Tamil-speaking waiter, who provided excellent service, was reportedly scolded by Sinhalese management for supposedly showing favoritism, assuming we were Tamil. The resort's ****** management and the numerous service issues was a first and appalling experience for us. It highlights the need for the hotel management to undergo training, focusing on hospitality and if not that, maybe just basic decency.

Hotel With nice environment but! but there is nothing to do in the surrounding area or in the hotel (apart from the tea factory to visit). Moreover, it is very difficult to access. No wifi access. Room at the bottom of the road so very noisy. Very disapointed

Everything was perfect. The most positive point is the very kind staff. They are very helpful, cheerful and polite. The location is amazing. The views are really breath taking as if you are in heaven. We had a bungalow with a fantastic view of the valley and the river. The room was very clean and huge! Very comfortable bed, with a nice big blanket. Nice bathroom. It is very quiet and wonderful to relax❤️❤️❤️

The small resort is somewhat hidden in the middle of the tea plantations near Nawalapitiya. It can be reached by taxi in 4 hours from Bandaranaike Airport. Room/Bungalow The spacious bungalows are furnished in a colonial style. We moved into a very clean bungalow. You have to be aware that the resort is in the middle of nature and that little visitors can get lost in the bungalow through small gaps (e.g. under doors) over the course of the days and nights. We didn't see any dangerous animals, so it didn't bother us. There is no daily room service. At night you can watch fireflies through the large window, and in the morning you can be woken up by monkeys or squirrels on the roof. We liked this as well as the magnificent view from the large panoramic window into the green valley. Food As vegetarians, we really appreciated the local cuisine of Sri Lanka. Activities Requested trips to Adams Peak and several waterfalls were organized and realized by tuk-tuk ;-). At afternoon tea we were introduced to the new luxury house tent prototype that is still under construction. The tea factory spontaneously gave us a private tour and sells fantastic tea. Lovers will get their money's worth. General manager, chef and their team were very hospitable and responded to our wishes. What does the addition “& Spa” stand for? There is a pool but it seems very neglected. We would come back at any time.

Team members are kind and helpful but they really need proper training about discipline, customer service and how to care customers. we can see nice selling point in the website but most of the things not real. when I make booking I mentioned villa with pool however I was surprised when I see and pool (see the picture). there are no spa or anything related to wellness. room ok with price , need more privacy. breakfast menu has mentioned “Please feel free to ask our staff more details about these popular Sri Lankan delicacies if you wish to try traditional Sri Lankan cuisine for breakfast” how ever when i try to give advice Oder for Sri Lanka breakfast they mentioned can have only roti or English breakfast.
