Stunning view , atmosphere , beautiful and luxury style. The best food ever had in Sri Lanka and amazing team ! The team speak English properly and they have such care for the guests that literally touched my heart. I wish everyone to stay at W15

The most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka, I was full of expectations, but was quite disappointed. First of all, there is a one-way road on the way up the mountain, and it is dangerous to reverse when there is a car passing by. The hotel has only six rooms, including breakfast and dinner, but the variety is too small, and it is a bit not full. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are served very slowly. We were the only Chinese family that day, and we couldn't find anyone when we checked in, so we waited for a long time. The environment is very good, but it is too troublesome to go up and down the mountain, the service is average, and the hotel atmosphere is not very good. I don't recommend staying here.

The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high.
Special attention should be paid to the fact that the hotel channels have different prices, so carefully compare the prices.

There are many management problems in this hotel: (1) Discrimination against Chinese guests. We paid the full amount in August to book a room for New Year's Day. No refunds were allowed, and changes were not supported. However, two days before check-in, they suddenly told us that there was no room available, and we were kicked out. Arrange to go to the King Pavilion half an hour away; (2) Have no sense of time, require eating at 11:30, ordering food in the morning, and eating at 12 o'clock;

What an absolute treat to stay here. It is a beautiful property with lovely rooms. A stunning view and beautiful pool. The food is outstanding. But it is the staff that make it so special. Always smiling. Sheriff, Prabod and his team provide perfect hospitality. Naturalist Anju was absolutely wonderful. He took us walking, to the tea museum and in the jeep. So knowledgeable. We saw birds, barking deer. The cooking lesson with the executive chef was a highlight. Absolutely wonderful. Treasured memories. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful experience at W15. The warm welcome and friendly professional butler staff made it very special. The cooking lesson was interesting - we as cooks enjoyed. The hotel is so comfortable with a picturesque and tranquil setting. Food, drinks, service impeccable. Thank you all for making our stay so special Hastha, Sherriff, Manjoola, Prebod, Kreethi. The guided walk was very interesting and enjoyed also.

Simply the best food we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, from homemade breads and jams, to high tea and curry feasts! Sidath and his team made our visit so special, beautiful accommodation, excellent service and stunning setting. I’ll be back for sure!

Our family had a truly memorable high tea at W15 Hanthana Estate. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. They answered every question we had about local wildlife and the surrounding mountains—and even brought out a photo book so we could see how the estate was restored. Although my relatives are from the area, this was their first visit, and they were amazed by the estate’s beauty, the exquisite spread of sweet and savory treats, and the impeccable service. Sheriff and his colleague (whose name escapes me) went the extra mile, even preparing a cup of tea for our driver while he waited. We left thoroughly impressed and already looking forward to our next visit!
