The most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka, I was full of expectations, but was quite disappointed. First of all, there is a one-way road on the way up the mountain, and it is dangerous to reverse when there is a car passing by. The hotel has only six rooms, including breakfast and dinner, but the variety is too small, and it is a bit not full. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are served very slowly. We were the only Chinese family that day, and we couldn't find anyone when we checked in, so we waited for a long time. The environment is very good, but it is too troublesome to go up and down the mountain, the service is average, and the hotel atmosphere is not very good. I don't recommend staying here.

The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high.

There are many management problems in this hotel: (1) Discrimination against Chinese guests. We paid the full amount in August to book a room for New Year's Day. No refunds were allowed, and changes were not supported. However, two days before check-in, they suddenly told us that there was no room available, and we were kicked out. Arrange to go to the King Pavilion half an hour away; (2) Have no sense of time, require eating at 11:30, ordering food in the morning, and eating at 12 o'clock;

Exceptional service, paradise views My partner and I enjoyed a 4 night stay at W15 Hanthana Estate, and we already miss being there. This place really exceeded our expectations: The views are unbelievable, we spent hours just soaking it all in from different spots around the property. It’s the perfect place to come to stillness after lots of active travel. The whole team made our stay wonderful, from the incredible food to the warmth of every interaction. We honestly wouldn’t have had the same experience without them. The butlers are amazing, anticipating our needs before we even realised them ourselves. Manjula is such a gem, bringing warmth, cheer, and genuine care in his service. Navod was also fantastic – he has a great sense of humor and made us feel right at home. A highlight of the stay was our morning hike with Naturalist Aju. His knowledge of the area’s nature but also history and culture made the hike more than a simple excursion (which in itself was gorgeous). Special mention goes to General Manager, Sidath, who went above and beyond with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. We felt like we were treated more like family than guests and hope to return with our family one day. ps. Our last evening at W15 will be one we always remember ❤️

Lovely place very tranquil with beautiful views. Food excellent although sometimes a long wait between requesting a drink and then receiving one. Stable room very comfortable but with a tiny wardrobe! Perhaps guests are expected to arrive with little or no luggage! Virtually nowhere to put anything. The open bathroom provides little privacy. The floor mat in our room looked grubby. The staff were very friendly and Sherif asked to be mentioned here.

Beautiful hotel. Very exclusive with only 10 rooms. Staff is very nice, food is fantastic and the whole property is magical. In the middle of the tea plantation. Definitely place to go. Our butler Shariff was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay in this magical place …

Beautiful place to stay away from all the bustle of town. Service was incredible and everyone was so lovely and attentive. They made us feel very special and were also fun and friendly. View’s are spectacular, rooms are beautiful and setting out of this world.

Wonderful experience. The house is magnificent, the staff is incredible, welcoming, helpful, friendly. Special thanks to Sheriff, Manjulla, Hastha, Navod and of course Chef Rasika who concocted the delicious food and went out of his way to cook with our teenager children our goodbye meal. Naturalist Banuka is so knowledgeable, it was a pleasure hiking with him. And if you have some time, ask for Udina. One of the best massages we had. Last but not least, the gorgeous nature surrounding you on W15 is unforgettable. We will definitely come back
