Hanthan Eco Lodge

I had a lovely stay at Hanthana Eco Lodge—this place had been on my bucket list for a while since I really enjoy eco-lodge experiences. I was a bit unsure about taking three elderly family members along, but the team truly exceeded expectations. Big thanks to Melanie, the manager, who went out of her way to customize the menu and make sure all our needs were taken care of. Nandana and Mihiranga were super helpful and made us feel right at home, and Chef George treated us to some absolutely delicious meals. I’d definitely recommend Hanthana Eco Lodge for a relaxing family trip, a catch-up with friends, or even an adventurous hiking getaway. Wishing the team all the best—hope to visit again soon!

If you need to move away from your busy life this is a destination to be. Have a bath in the natural pool, but remember it's deep, enjoy the delicious meals and experience the the breathtaking views. You can have a hike through the tea estate which the host will guide you. Forgot to mention Mr Chandana, the host, he was extremely professional in his career and provided us an excellent service. Hoping to visit again soon. Extremely satisfied with the room (Mountain view) and everything!

The best hotel ever visited!! You can't just go from it! You get attracted to the environment,food,the service. Nandana was the most cheerful waiter ever!! He always has a smile on his face. Melanie too gives the best in her service!! Will recommend it to my friends and relatives too!! Please add signboards to the hotel. Otherwise we will get difficult to get there. The Rocky Cove room clearly has stones and the bathroom too had stones on the ground. Best hotel ever visited!! Thank you once again for the service!! Shall come back again!!

When you enter to the property you will feel that you are at home. That much genuine and warm welcome they provide from the entrance. We have booked Rockey Cave family room. Room was super comfortable and had amazing view. If you really need a vacation far away from the city, this is the best place for your vacation. Food was so delicious. All the staff are so friendly and genuine. Specially need to mention Mr. Nandana who was providing personalised service during our stay. We will be definitely coming back to this wonderful place.

Our stay at Hantana Eco Lodge was exceptional! The staff, notably Nandana and Joseph, were incredibly polite and went above and beyond. Joseph's guidance during the hike was a highlight. The food, with its delicious Sri Lankan flavors, was a treat. Safety was a top priority, perfect for our group of girls. We can't wait to return!

Spacious room with a mountain-view's balcony. Room has enough facilities. Hospitality is great. Food is average. The location is good. Less water in a small waterfall in dry season. The road up to the hotel is carpeted.
