Basically not recommended. The location is quite remote. If you drive, you have to take a long winding mountain road to get there. The dinner was quite grand. In addition, the temperature is low, 10 degrees lower than at the foot of the mountain.

I found this hotel on YouTube and stayed there for 2 nights. It was far from the station, on top of a mountain, so I enjoyed my stay without going into town. The view was beautiful, I enjoyed the mist, I picked tea leaves, and had a luxurious high tea. Dinner was a buffet, but they had Western and Sri Lankan food, which I enjoyed as I was tired of curry. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very unique hotel. Renovated from a tea factory, the old-fashioned elevators and teapot-shaped toiletries are very surprising, and the welcome ceremony is also very unique.
