Bel resort, ben tenuto e pulito, con un buon ristorante indiano, con una clientela locale ma anche di turisti stranieri alla prima o all’ultima tappa del loro viaggio in Tamil Nadu essendo in posizione ideale (a pochi minuti di Tuc Tuc) dai bei templi di Mamallapuram e non più di due ore dall’aeroporto di Chennai. Il resort, con belle camere spaziose e pulite tutte dotate di spazio esterno, affaccia sulla spiaggia. Peccato che le condizioni del mare mosso e le correnti non consentano la balneazione. Personale molto attento e gentile. Insomma lo consiglio!

L’hotel , situato in riva al mare e circondato da un bel giardino, è dotato di palazzine a due piani e si presenta molto bene. La mia camera era al pianterreno, molto ampia, accogliente e pulita. Avevo a disposizione una piccola veranda con due poltrone e un tavolino. Il personale è stato molto gentile e la colazione abbastanza buona e varia. L’hotel è dotato anche di piscina.

Nice beach resort atmosphere with scattered one and two story accommodation. Beach is close by and the water is so warm but I wouldn't swim there as the undertoe is fierce. Excellent smorgasbord for lunch and dinner and decent breakfast. Our room was comfortable although TV didn't work. Nice shower though. Very tidy grounds which add to the atmosphere

Terrible place to stay. Not recommended at all. Old rooms. AC stopped working. Fans don't work. Bathrooms got clogged with water and the drain had to be changed. The whole place stinks of urine smell. Staff not well trained. The infrastructure is not maintained properly.

Hôtel charmant à la plage au charme rétro. Jolies chambres confortables avec terrasse et vue mer. Belle piscine. Service et personnel aux petits soins. Excellente nourriture et parfait petit-déjeuner. Cet hôtel est très bien situé sur la plage de Mahabalipuram, parfait pour visiter les sites historiques. En conclusion, je conseille vivement le Grand Hôtel d’Europe. J’y retournerai sans hésitation.

Our stay at Ideal beach (25th May 2024) offered a mix of both delightful and disappointing experiences. On the positive side, the buggy drive around the property was enjoyable. The breakfast served was hearty and fulfilling, featuring a great variety of well-prepared dishes, including South Indian and Continental. Additionally, the room service was excellent, with prompt and courteous responses to all our requests. Our rooms had a beautiful partial-beach view. However, several aspects of the room facilities did not meet expectations. The bathroom was inadequately lighted with no proper ventilation, save for a small dirty window covered with wire mesh that barely sufficed.The room air conditioning unit was old and lacked the potency to adequately cool the room, which was highly uncomfortable in warm weather. One of our rooms were not properly clean as we found clumps of hair under the dressing table and we also had stained bedsheets. Furthermore, the television was too small for the size of the room, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of watching. Another significant drawback was the WiFi connectivity, which suffered from frequent drops, making it difficult to stay connected to the internet. While parts of the stay were enjoyable, the room's comfort and technology amenities made our stay discomforting. Ideal beach resort can boast beautiful landscaped gardens and pools, but careless attitude to room facilities downgrades the overall stay experience.

Nous avons commencé notre séjour de 3 semaines en Inde du Sud, en décembre 2023, par un séjour de trois nuits à l'hôtel IDEAL BEACH RESORT. L'hôtel est idéalement situé en bord de plage ou il fait bon se promener les pieds dans l'eau et assister au retour des pêcheurs. De plus, il est à proximité de tous les sites à visiter à MAHABALIPURAM. La piscine est agréable et le personnel charmant. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.
