Camera bella grande. Piscina in bellissima posizione per relax. Cena (insalata tamarindo - soprattutto) a prezzi eccellenti. Colazione scarsa, ma buone le uova con pancetta, caffè troppo tostato. Personale gentilissimo e sorridente.

We booked this place as a two day stop over while travelling in this part of Thailand. We read a few reviews and it looked okay. This is a small hotel which backs onto the river Kwai. There is a dining terrace down near the river ( not always ideal on the evenings when the mosquitoes are out in force) where they have fish food so that you can feed the very many fishes. The gardens are immaculately kept and very pretty indeed. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The beds and pillows are very firm but that seems to be the way in most of Thailand. This is a quiet hotel without much around it although there is a restaurant on site with a good selection of food (all Thai) which was well cooked. In summery, if you are looking for a one or two night stop over while travelling visiting the bridge over the river Kwai and surround area you wont be disappointed with Princess River Kwai Hotel.

Einfaches Hotel direkt am Fluss, schöner Garten kleiner Pool mit Terrasse. Dadurch das dass Hotel am Fluss liegt sind natürlich viele Moskitos und kleinere Geckos unterwegs, Unser Zimmer war okay, nicht richtig sauber aber für eine Nacht ausreichend. Vom Essen her war wir eher kaum Begeistert, aber jeder hat ja seinen eigenen Geschmack, Das Personal war aber stets zuvorkommend und freundlich da wir auch Probleme mit unserer Dusche hatten. Für die Durchreise ideal für längeren Aufenthalt eher nicht.

The view is beautiful, right on the river. Overall lovely stay, the rooms are big and nice, very clean. Bathroom is good size and with all the things you need like toiletries etc. The hotel was very accommodating as we were family of 4 with 2 very young children so had a cot and a mattress on the floor and still plenty of room for us, bags etc. the balcony was a good size and we went in the pool a few times which was also nice, a little cold at first but lovely. The location of the hotel was a little far from everything, no shop near by and need to take taxi everywhere (which isn’t a problem), reception staff are very lovely and book cars for you. The restaurant is average, free breakfast is good, with plenty of choice or hot and cold food, from cereal, bread to rice or noodle dishes. We did eat at the restaurant twice in the evenings for convenience, and it was fine, but not amazing. The portions were quite small, for a mid-high cost and could do with more flavour. Drinks also weren’t the cheapest. Overall a lovely stay.
