The hotel is close to the Kanchanaburi train. It is convenient to check in and take photos. However, it is a bit expensive and old. There are many mosquitoes in the room. The room is very big and the single bed is too thin. I don’t sleep well. The breakfast is numb.

Das Hotel liegt ausgesprochen gut, wie man sieht direkt bei der Brücke. In der näheren Umgebung, auch zu Fuß leicht erreichbar, hat es mittlere bis ganz gute Restaurants. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und konnten direkt beim Hotel parkieren. Sind die Parkplätze voll, bekommt man einen Gutschein und kann ihn vis a vis auf dem großen Busparkplatz parkieren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen und das sieht man auch. Vordergründig ist es recht sauber, bei näherem hinsehen hat es jedoch überall Staub und ist leicht schmutzig. Das Hotel ist extrem leichthörig und es scheint fast als wären die Wände aus Papier, daher ist an ein ruhiges Schlafen nicht zu denken. Zudem hat es auf der anderen Flussseite Gastronomiebetriebe, welche Partys veranstalten und das jeden Abend. Alles in allem würde ich eher ein anderes Hotel nehmen bei meinem nächsten Besuch.

Ok hotel for short stays
All fine, just 3 days is fine. Breakfast is same everyday, no choice you get a thai breakfast exactly the same every morning, was good but after 3 days you look for something else of course. For the rest all good.

Perfect!! We enjoined our visit the bridge and river very much. Looking the bridge and river from your balcony was Kodak moments! Our train starts at 6:05am so they packed our breakfast to go, it was delicious breakfast. Strongly recommended.

The deluxe rooms (4th floor) were worth it, with balcony viewing the river. Large bathrooms with separate shower and WC. Great base for walking around the bridge area and finding restaurants. Good and large beds. Small minus: 2nd afternoon we wanted to make tea with the facilities in the room and bags were finished. Called reception, replied 'sorry we are out of stock'. We replied 'what happened with the HUGE tea bag stock this morning at the breakfast restaurant?' and 5 minutes later they brought more tea bags.

Booked this hotel because it was central for my time in Kanchanaburi, was there for the Remembrance Day service at Don Rak war cemetery and it was right on the river near the bridge. You have the Jeath war museum next to it and places to eat but the hotel was lovely and clean the staff was very friendly it a hotel I would use every year for the Remembrance Day.
