Popular Kamloops 4-star Hotels

This was the hotel chosen for us to stay at as part of the Rocky Mountaineer Train from Banff to Vancouver. I am aware that many are not happy with this hotel or it seems any hotel the Train uses as part of the trip for Kamaloops. I had read many reviews leading up to our trip, but we were actually pleasantly surprised. It was fine. We were already given a key to hotel room while on the train so check in was as simple as walking in and riding an elevator up to our floor. Room was close to elevator as had been requested due to mobility issue. Not an accessible Room but was roomy and comfortable. Very small bathroom. Not the best water pressure but Clean. I went down to request a bath mat. The young man at desk was super busy on phone and dealing with people but was polite and remained calm regardless of it all. He managed to find a bath chair as well as the mat. There is a restaurant right there in lobby and an area to sit outside. Bottles of water, pop, and a few snacks are available right next to front desk. It is my understanding there is alot of restaurants ect in the area but we did not venture out. We feel that we got a good night's sleep and that the front desk met our needs. I admit I never thought to take pictures of the room ect because nothing really stands out. But it was not in disrepair and we would recommend for a affordable choice of 1 night while in kamaloops.

We were blown away by the quality of service at the delta hotel in kamloops. The staff were friendly and efficient, everything went smoothly starting with our checkin, the front desk agent made the gesture to congratulate us on our engagement. The pool area was spotless and well maintained. We were also impressed with the food at Cordo restaurant, coming from Vancouver we have no shortage of great restaurants, and I would say that cordo is very on par with the dining experience in Vancouver. The menu selection was fantastic and cocktails were also very thoughtful. Make sure to check out stills distillery while staying at the hotel for some tapas and cool drinks. Thanks Delta Kamloops, we will be back!

The Rocky Mountaineer Train had provided this accommodation during it's journey break halfway between Banff and Vancouver. So we ( me & my wife ) sort of stayed for the post afternoon hours and one night only.The room allotted to us was spacious with two Queen sized beds. The Room was clean and had a TV, Microwave Oven,Electric Kettle,Electric Press,Press Board & Coffee machine etc.For drinking Tap water was used . The Hotel boasts of a Swimming Pool,Theatre Room & Conference Room. The staff is courteous.We had a good sleep and were provided breakfast in the train so did not taste the Hotel's preparations.

The location is in the center of the town. The pizza shop opposite is said to be one of the more popular shops in the local area. The hotel is old, but you can feel the glory of the past. The breakfast is very simple. It is scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and fruit. It basically meets the demand. The parking lot is on the side of the hotel. Just had a great supper at a very reasonable price. Great service. It is a little out of the way put with them help if GPS we found it. They have an every day seniors menu with about 5 different entries including two sides for $17.95. We didn't take advantage of his but saw a large group of seniors that appeared to enjoy their meals.

The overall is very general Motel, it is OK to stay temporarily in Kamloops. The front desk brother has a good service attitude, close to TRU, selected a barrier-free room, large area, with a supporting pool fitness device

All areas of the hotel were meticulously clean and neat, from the entrance, to the halls, to the elevator, to our room. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and polite, and our room was perfect. Even the free breakfast was fantastic, with both hot and cold options available. All the food and drink were always available and full, and as with the rest of the hotel, the area was kept very clean and neat by the friendly staff.

Check in was very seamless, and when we got to our room, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, smelling and nice and fresh. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows. Nice and fluffy. The lounge chair to sit in was also super comfortable. The linens were crisp and clean and smelled wonderful, everything was sparkling clean. Robin was the person that did our room up and it was perfect.

The hotel is not far off the highway, relatively far from the central area; there is a shopping mall next to it, and there are two gas stations at the intersection, convenient parking; The hotel has breakfast, bread, cake and yogurt. The hotel has free boiled water and coffee for 24 hours. There is a Chinese restaurant in the same building of the hotel. The price is good. There is a beautiful western girl in a cheongsam:) The hotel has a 1.5-meter bed. Cost-effective
