Hampton Inn by Hilton Kamloops

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kamloops BC. Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Parking area seems a bit crowded with possibly a crime problem. All signs tell you to take everything out of your car and lock up. We came away with a flat tire, although we could have picked up the pair of scissors elsewhere. (yes scissors) The restaurant at the other end of the parking area was noisy but the food was good.

Two stays, one on the way from Calgary to Victoria, one return. First stay, found the hotel ok, but the parking exit was awkward. Breakfast was disappointing. Tables were not wiped between guests. Pancake machine made undercooked pancakes. Second stay, the hotel was overbooked so we did not get the requested room. Instead a top floor suite, we thought would be better but was dirty, not cleaned between guests, very noisy due to balcony not closing properly, and same problems as before.

The appearance of the hotel is very beautiful, the house is clean, I pay great attention to the wall tile gap of the bathroom and the edge of the basin sealant. There is no mold, there is no such a hotel in the early level, can be so clean, I am very satisfied. The facilities in the house are very good, the rooms are very spacious and the price is very high.
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Kamloops

This hotel is actually a Motel. For a stopover from Vancouver to Jasper, this hotel is absolutely fine. In addition, the price of 300+ yuan is also very cost-effective. Breakfast was modest and the service girl was hospitable.

The hotel is very cost-effective, the kitchen has an induction cooker, very easy to use. The service staff is also very enthusiastic and responsible. Very comfortable to live.

Service: Self-driving with children from Vancouver to Banff, with one night’s rest in transit I checked in at the front desk and struggled for more than an hour at 7:30 in the evening. The reason was that the hotel did not recognize my visa card as a credit card (there was no chip, so I could only swipe a magnetic stripe card), and domestic Unipay could not be used. The front desk asked my friend in Nanaimo to send me a credit card or ask the supplier to change hotels for me. Finally, with the efforts of Ctrip and the supplier, we reached an agreement with the hotel owner + front desk and allowed me to use the visa card. Hygiene: Relatively clean and tidy. It meets the standards of a motel. It is suitable for resting. The bedding is relatively comfortable for sleeping. Facilities: The air cooler is very noisy and needs to be turned off at night Environment: There is a small outdoor swimming pool. Some children were playing when we arrived. It is very convenient for fast food and gas nearby. Friends who start here or go to Banff via here must fill up the tank. If I remember correctly, the next gas station is more than 200 kilometers away.
