Chrispy Waterpark Resort

Stay 04-11.05.2025, 2 adults We chose this hotel because we were there 3 years ago and knew what to expect. The hotel is supposedly 4 stars but in our opinion it deserves a maximum of 3 stars. The fourth star is probably only for the local aqua park. The first unpleasant impression was the total mess at check-in. 3 years ago it was not like that. We arrived around 10:30 and got the keys after 16:30. Fortunately, we got All Inclusive bracelets right away. Room We got a room in the second part of the hotel. We treated the hotel as a place to sleep and eat, so for us it was completely ok. In the bathroom... I'm not sure if it's a shower or a mini bathtub... if it's the former, there were at least no curtains to prevent water from spilling onto the floor. Towels were not changed even once. Cleaning was limited to covering the beds and wiping the floor with a cloth… Food Everyone will find something for themselves but generally not a big choice and not very varied. Especially breakfasts. The same every day. Dinners were repeats of lunch + additional dishes added. Hot dishes were hot moments after they were placed in the warmers. If they had been there for a while, they were no longer hot… sufficient offer of fresh vegetables + basic fruit + some sweet cakes and ice cream. Beer, white and red wine + drinks – available from morning in the restaurant… there was often no white wine in the restaurant at all, and sometimes the taps were switched. Where there was supposed to be red, there was white and vice versa… and cats wandering everywhere… however, if someone came late, they often found empty containers in the warmers. Pool + aqua park Everything is fine here, although some of the umbrellas and sunbeds have seen their best days... some of the umbrellas had no locks to open... you had to think of something to lock them with so they wouldn't fold. There was a "bar" with drinks and snacks by the pool, but nothing special... chips, pizza, salad... the view around the pool just after 7am was an unpleasant sight... cups and leftovers from the evenings were strewn everywhere. Only then did the cleaning crews start cleaning. Drink bar Beer, wine, drinks + local drinks... but a very small selection and very weak at that... they must be saving on alcohol... sometimes there was a shortage of beer or ice for drinks. It was because there were logistical problems in this hotel and no one from the hotel staff helped the bartenders. If they didn't go for ice themselves, leaving the bar unattended, no one brought it to them. Evenings… Let's just say that something was… Summary Here I have to share a negative comment, unfortunately… Check-out according to the hotel is until 11:00, and already at 8:00 a cleaning lady was sent to prepare the room for the next guests. We haven't returned the keys yet (we were leaving after 9)… this is at least uncultured and tactless, and I think it's reprehensible and unacceptable. They need to cook and maintain proper hot food They where very welcoming upon arrival. The staff are very friendly and helpful. At first we had a room on the first floor above the lobby, but we had a hard time sleeping due to the noise from the lobby. So they provided a more quiete room for us. The food on the other hand was not very hot, and unfortunately we got sick on day 3. Dispite keeping using handsanitizer and keeping good hygiene we are got sick, other guest had the same experience, but we were told that it had nothing to do with the food, even tho the temp. On the”hot” food was at most 35 degrees celsius. We had a good stay but i would probably not revisit due to the food.
