Meigetsuso

2度目の訪問です。 前回は4年前、友人達と伺いました。今回は家内とでお世話になりました。 部屋は蔵王連山の望め、ダイニングが別れている間取りでなにかと便利でした。 温泉は、大浴場、貸切風呂、家族風呂、立ち湯、それに部屋の風呂。どれも趣あってとても良かったです。特に蔵王が見渡せる部屋のお風呂は、便利な事もあって何度も浸かりました。数日前に降った雪のおかげで雪見風呂も楽しめました。 食事は郷土色がいっぱいでした。どれも美味しくてとても満足できました。 中居さんの感じもとても良かったです。

The spacious Japanese-style room not only had a private hot spring bath in the room, but also a small but authentic open-air bath on the terrace, so I was able to enjoy a satisfying bath without having to go to the large public bath, which is also in keeping with the prevention of infection. As expected of a cold region, the building was fully heated, and I was so sweaty after bathing, and the heated floor at the entrance to the room was a nice touch. I was able to relax without feeling cold at all. All the meals were deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented, and the Yamagata beef steak in particular was very tender and delicious, surpassing that of a steak specialty restaurant. It was a stay that did not disappoint, as it had received high praise on review sites. If I had to say one thing, the bathroom and toilet sink felt a little small, but it was well within the acceptable range.

I stayed for one night with my family of five. I've wanted to come here for a long time, but I couldn't get a reservation, so this was my first visit in 12 years. After all, it's a popular inn, so everything is good. I took a taxi from Kaminoyama Onsen Station, and when I arrived and tried to pay, I was told, ``That's fine,'' and ``What?'' I didn't understand at first, but the taxi from the station to Meigetsuso was free. ... apparently ... Although we were a little earlier than check-in time, we were greeted immediately upon arrival and guided around. It's been a while since it was built, but the interior doesn't feel old at all, and is clean and stylish. The room is very comfortable, with a Japanese-style room, a living room, a study, and a semi-open-air bath. Since there were five of us, we had dinner in the dinner venue (private room), and it had a great view of Zao in the back and cherry blossoms in full bloom in the foreground. After a while, we were surprised to see a full moon rising from the depths of Zao (it's called a pink moon), and we had the best dinner while looking at the full moon. The food is also seasonal and has no complaints. In addition to the large bath, there are several family baths, so you won't get bored. The good thing about Meigetsuso is its hospitality. The staff's service is wonderful. The price is high, but I think it's worth it. I look forward to seeing you again. There aren't many vacancies though...
