I booked this hotel for 7 nights. The room hasn't been renovated since at least the 1980s. The bed was uncomfortable, the furniture was old, and the shower had no curtain or hook for the handset. The sheets weren't ironed and were even dirty in some places. Dirt under the bed (dust and paper). But the incredible thing is that we had to leave after only two nights because there was no water from 8 PM to 8 AM the next day!!!!!! It's true that the water shortage affects the entire country, but it's equally true that this hotel doesn't have the water storage tanks that all the other facilities have to address the problem and guarantee water to guests when Crete's water system isn't working. When we left, they didn't even refund us for the five nights we didn't stay. THE OWNER, INSTEAD OF REFUNDING US THE MONEY FOR THE 5 NIGHTS NOT STAYED, ABSURDLY PROPOSED US TO RETURN FOR FREE NEXT YEAR
