Kamalapur Hotels with Pools

We were really disappointed with Clarks Inn. From arrival to departure our stay was really substandard. Maybe you get what you pay for, but we did not pay for food poisoning (Masala Omelette at breakfast) or really poorly trained staff who just did not seem to understand the concept of customer service both in the restaurant or at the reception desk. Honestly - we don’t expect much - just service with a smile and somebody who will respond to a request when asked. As for the food poisoning, my wife suffered very badly for 48 hours. The hotel does have an indoor swimming pool with an open roof. I used it briefly … but there is no place to sit and unwind after a swim apart from a few plastic chairs scattered around. And I did have to think twice about getting into the water for the obvious reasons. In the “restaurant” there is a poster that says “The secret ingredient is always love” : sadly we didn’t experience any love at Clarks Inn.
