Clean, on the sea, hot water 24/7, there is parking, close to Chania and Rethymnon, short walking distances varied tavernas restaurants, nearby a big supermarket. Advised

It was my second visit to Kalyves, but it couldn't be better. The apartments are located a bit further from the center of the town, however, in a nice walking distance from it and close to a supermarket as well as nice cafes and restaurants. The view from the apartment is incredible, especially in the night. The apartment had everything that was needed, including all amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Room was spottless with everyday cleaning and bedsheet changing. The owner was lovely and very helpful with organizing transport from the airport. Trully, a wonderful stay!

The owner and his son went out of the way to always be ready to help. One day I felt sick and they offered to make an appointment at a doctors office, take me there and even stay if I needed someone to translate. Wonderful people and a GREAT place to stay.

We arrived in Kalyves at the end of a long holiday in splendid Crete. The three days spent at Christi apartments fully met our expectations: simply furnished but very clean and functional apartment, equipped with a balcony with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Souda. The owner (whose name I don't know, unfortunately) welcomed us with kindness and professionalism and was invaluable for his advice on places to visit and taverns to eat in. I am pleased to point out the rigorous compliance with the rules to combat the spread of Covid (which is anything but a given) and the presence outside the apartments of a small pharmacy with first aid medicines available and above all a fair amount of books for mostly in English (it's the first time I've found books available to customers!)
