Katerina Apartments

Avoid this host at all cost. I’ve had my holiday booked since August 2024 through a reputable booking agent. I paid the cost of the room off in full and she has today requested a further £170. I kindly declined the fee and requested a reason for the invoice. She stated that the room is no longer available. Funnily enough my room is still available on numerous booking agents at a much higher price. It’s clear to see she wants more money for the room than agreed last year. She’s left me without a room in the middle of August with such short notice will be extremely hard to find somewhere.

This is a family run hotel. We had an apartment. Basic but very clean and the family are renovating the rooms so they will change soon. Extremely friendly and helpful. Ramona, Danny and family speak a variety of languages - especially Ramona. They could not do enough for you. We arrived after 11pm in the evening and they greeted us and showed us to our rooms. Departing they let us know we could stay as long as we wanted as our flight was not until the evening. Food is really good and I would recommend the Greek omelette for breakfast - delicious. We stayed for the Easter celebrations and it was fab - a bit noisy with the dynamite at times - but a great experience. As it was just before the start of the season not everywhere was open and again due to Easter the opening times of shops etc varied. Fab time was had and we would definitely recommend and go again.

Nice cheap hotel Great alternative choice. The hotel is well kept and the owner is extremely accommodating. This is the place to stay in Kalimnos.

Very good hotel. Ideally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the harbour front where there is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, pool is great, the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with being updated and the owners who took the hotel over recently recognise this and said it will be done soon. I will definitely stay there again.

This property was perfect for a young family. It is run by a beautiful family that goes beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. I highly recommend this property.

When we arrived our room wasn't ready so we were able to leave our bags at reception. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were basic but clean. One thing we found annoying and different to hotels was that you have to pay to use the air conditioning. We rate the pool very highly, it's a lovely area to chill out and was the only hotel out of the 4 that we stayed throughout our trip that did not close early. The bar was exceptional with lovely food available throughout the day and there was a good breakfast available at the mornings. We would stay here again.
