Nice cheap hotel
Great alternative choice. The hotel is well kept and the owner is extremely accommodating. This is the place to stay in Kalimnos.

Very good hotel.
Ideally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the harbour front where there is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, pool is great, the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with being updated and the owners who took the hotel over recently recognise this and said it will be done soon. I will definitely stay there again.

This property was perfect for a young family. It is run by a beautiful family that goes beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. I highly recommend this property.

When we arrived our room wasn't ready so we were able to leave our bags at reception. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were basic but clean. One thing we found annoying and different to hotels was that you have to pay to use the air conditioning. We rate the pool very highly, it's a lovely area to chill out and was the only hotel out of the 4 that we stayed throughout our trip that did not close early. The bar was exceptional with lovely food available throughout the day and there was a good breakfast available at the mornings. We would stay here again.

On arrival the hotelier told us our room were tired and in need of an up grade. 2 days after returning I was diagnosed with Legionella, contract from their water source. Legionella screening should occur minimum monthly, and taps in empty room should be run to flush through this potentially life threatening bug.

I have just returned from a week on Kalymnos staying at the Katerina Apartments. Yiannis and Ramona made my family and I feel at home and were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very basic but homely and a great place to stay whilst we explored the island. I would recommend the Katerina Apartments to any one who would like to visit this lovely island as it is central to all amenities and transport. I have stayed at the Katerina Apartments for several holidays now and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you again Yiannis and Ramona - see you next year!
