Great view, accommodating host

We stayed 5 nights in villa nostalgia and it was absolutely amazing. Nicky and the team were very helpful upon arrival. Simply put the house is very luxurious, in a simple and very tastefully designed and decorated way. Every detail was considered when furnishing and supplying the home, with nothing left to chance. We enjoyed our time in compete relaxation and also our adventures around the island, and to Arginonta beach (which has a very nice taverna with a kids pool) and the rocks below the villas. The town of Masouri is a nice little town with shops, restaurants, entertainment and beaches. Closest Grocery/Market is Masouri and there are many small options, the larger option is AB store and has fresh meats and full grocery/supermarket. I could not have asked for a better holiday and the Villa/Petra was a large part of that. Our family will forever cherish our memories there and one day we hope to return.

We have stayed here five times, hand have used most of the apartments / villas. We visit Kalymnos for climbing, but like it to be a luxury holiday as well as a climbing trip, and Petra fits this perfectly. This year we visited with a 6 month old baby, and Petra was perfect for our little one. All of the apartments are beautifully built (and are environmentally considerate), in a luxury style with thought given to everything. If you are coming purely as a relaxing vacation, this is a wonderful place to stay. If you are coming to climb, it is even better, probably the best location in the island to access the Arginonta crags (which are the best on the island and less busy than the Massouri ones) such as Ahri, Sea Breeze, Skalia, Ghost Kitchen and Arginonta itself, most of which are walkable. Coming with a baby, we were given everything we could possibly need to make the stay comfortable, and save us bringing things you often need. The owners and staff are truly lovely, and after years of coming we certainly consider them friends. I particularly note the two new villas which are truly the height of luxury, I believe they are the best accomodation on Kalymnos. Cannot rate Petra highly enough. Please don't stay as I don't want it to be harder to get the dates we want! 😃

Excellent location with great views of the arginonta beach. Fantastic apartments, very clean and nicely decorated to fit kalymnos surroundings. Staff is polite and helpful always available. We will come back and definitely recommend it!!!
