Anantara Kalutara Resort

It’s my second stay at Anantara Kalutara. We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Mahimi helped me since the beginning. Arranged everything perfectly. Thank you so much for making that birthday memorable. Restaurant staff including Roshi, Sanka, Kalana, Lahiru and others members were really helpful and friendly . Five star food. Really delicious. Imesh, Mithya and Yeshan the pool staff was really friendly and supportive. Malkanthi was really nice to us all the time. Comfort and the cleanliness was superb as mentioned as last time. I can recommend Anantara Kalutara as one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. The front office staff including the manager Lashan was very friendly , helpful and courteous . Since our first step to the hotel and up to the farewell we experienced the best of best. Thank you so much for everyone specially Mahimi for planning the birthday surprises. Good luck ♥️

This was my first time visiting this hotel and after a long time I think I found one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. We were welcomed with genuine smiles and warmth and a beautiful dance. We were quickly checked in and led to our rooms which were luxurious. The furniture was clean, the beds were comfortable and the washroom exceeded our expectations. The food? Simply fantastic. Each and every dish was made with passion but what caught my eyes were the desserts. The time and effort the chefs have put in to the details of each item should be highly appreciated. The staff, Sanka and Lahiru did not fail to make sure our dining experience was up to par. We requested a few surprises for a birthday and Roshi helped in making sure everything went smoothly. Thanks to Kalana for the smiles and making sure we never ran out of warm water. The pool was humongous and clean. Imesh, Mithya and Yeshan were friendly and assured our safety and comfort near the pool. A very special mention to Mahimi who made all of this possible, from planning all the surprises to making sure we were comfortable. There were many activities and the two nights we stayed only allowed us time to do little. Overall the experience was simply perfect and I can’t wait to visit Anantara Kalutara again.

Property is very good location ambiance and views also rooms are very good convenient and well maintained but quality of food and all services are very poor food is not at all good, staff is untrained and very irresponsible they took 1 hr 30 minutes to serve morning tea in the restaurant room service is pathetic we have to remind several times for any requirement
