We couldn’t believe our luck in finding this gem in Waynad trip.It was a random selection in our trip.A place calm and quet place away from the hustles of City life. Upon check in, we kept wondering why the hotel was so affordable?.Wonderfull location. Cozy villa atmosphere.Amazing Hills view from the cottage.Neat and clean Room.well maintained Pool ,workout and Playing area.The food was phenomenal.Friendly and helpfull staff.Special Thanks to the Manager Mr.Thomas.Would stay here again and again.Highly Recommended. Recommendation: Would suggest to fix lights on the way to resort. Date of Visit:June 2025

Woodrose Resort, Wayanad, offers a pleasant stay with well-mannered staff and a courteous manager. However, our experience at the swimming pool was disappointing. The chlorine concentration in the pool was excessively high, causing eye irritation and a strong chemical smell. Unfortunately, my child developed severe skin irritation after using the pool, requiring a hospital visit the same evening after checkout. We also experienced burning eyes due to the chlorine levels. The breakfast was average and could be improved. While the hospitality was commendable, the pool maintenance needs serious attention to ensure guest safety and comfort.

The property is slightly away from the main road. The last 200 meters to the property is very steep and one needs to drive in the first gear without AC. Once we reached the resort, we really fell in love with it. Beautiful scenario of valley and mountain. Cottages are well maintained and decently furnished. Nothing extraordinary but comfortable with basic bathroom amenities and coffee/ tea maker. Dining choices are limited and made to order except for breakfast. They need at least 90 minutes for the preparation and service of the food ordered. But lunch and dinner orders are prepared to specific requirements. We tried their appam - veg stew and puttu - kadla curry ***** with the other options and these were really good. Resort Manager, Mr. Thomas is very helpful. Always smiling and ready to help the guests to ensure they are comfortable. He actually goes out of his duty / responsibility to make the guests comfortable. Thank you Thomas for all your help and support during our stay. Overall this is a wonderful resort to stay in Kalpetta, Wayanad and real value for money. This will be our first choice during our next visit to Wayanad.

Das Resort ist wundervoll! Die Aussicht auf den Chembra Peak, der Garten bzw das Resort-Gelände, das Essen und vor allem das unglaublich tolle Personal machten meinen Aufenthalt besonders! Thomas, der Manager, liest den Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und ist so nett. Die weitere Damen und Herren sind aufmerksam und nett!
Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein bisschen Schliff gebrauchen. Das hat meinen Aufenthalt aber in kleinster Weise negativ beeinflusst.

Woodrose resort is very good and especially it is very comfortable for babies(as they will provide all the basic necessary items to prepare the food for babies). Food is also good and Staff of the resort is very kind. Will feel very comfortable in this resort.

Well done Thomas!! I had booked another resort in wayanad and was planning to book this one only for a day. But when i spoke to Thomas .. his friendliness and courtesies compelled me to cancel my previous booking and book pinewood room in Woodrose for my complete stay in wayanad. And i do not regret my decision.. the rooms were awesome with wonderful view.. clean and neat. The food was great ! Breakfast options are limited but sufficient. Do visit and plan a stay here for nature stay in Wayanad.

Excellent location amazing views and a well mannered cordial Manager, Mr. Thomas. The resort has got some lovely cottages built with a direct view of the Chembra peak. Mr. Thomas helped us a lot in arranging anything and everything we needed. Food was also good at the restaurant. Overall amazing stay.

Great experience, nice people helpful in varied aspects of touring. Room equipped with coffee and tea machine too Scene seen from the resort is given attached Kalapeta is nearby with good hotels including Affas vegetation hotel too.
