Hotel 3 star at best hotel maids were absolutely brilliant the food court is what you expect plenty of choice but a struggle for the picky eaters the bar inside the hotel is very unfriendly the bar man is very arrogant and made our evenings uncomfortable all the other hotel staff were great a long ten days feeling uncomfortable

We were a bit dubious after some of the reviews. We got an all inclusive deal in October it's still very warm and not jam packed. The shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport and back is included. The variety of buffet food and drinks available is more than enough and the food is good to. With the extras of the pool bar where you can get drinks and the beach bar where you can get food as well as drinks(including alcohol and cocktails and mock tails it's definitely great value. The a la carte menu 1 per person per stay was a very tasty 5 course meal. The hotel is beautiful we went for a standard room with a sea view and the blue flag beach is literally on the doorstep. With a bus stop situated outside the hotel that offers regular trips to Rhodes and many more places. As well as the sea shuttle which operates close by. The water park is within 15 minutes walking distance although out of season starts around the end of October so it closes then. Their is a pool in the hotel and and an onsite shop. Pool towels are also provided free of charge every day. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff are friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff we're lovely too. The only negative was the tourist tax charge which I guess was in the small print. Ignore the bad reviews these people are clearly hard to please. Thanks for our amazing holiday would highly recommend x

At first, I was going to rate this hotel 2/5, but having stayed there for two weeks and my initial anger subsiding, I decided to give it 3/5 instead. But first things first: We booked this hotel many months back through the travel agency, and when we finally got there we were told by the receptionist that the hotel is currently over-booked, and we will be staying in a nearby (3 minutes by foot) hotel. This stay lasted two-days. When being asked is this normal practice, the receptionist answered that yes, indeed, it is quite normal on the islands. Yeah, right, quite normal my ass (pardon my French), especially when it seems that the hotel is almost half-empty most of the time. Eventually, after two-days we were told that our room is ready, and we've got a ground-floor family room, the doors of which is adjacent to the pool. In the evening, we've also got a compensation in a form of crappy dry white whine that no one would actually drink and some fruits (you know, the standard shebang). A couple of days after, I've noticed that some other guests also were receiving such "compensations", so, be careful, if you are thinking of booking, because you might be transferred to another place entirely. The room that we were in was okey, I guess, but in comparison to the apartment building, to which we were transferred for two days, it was bad: the bathroom did not have any air-extraction system (or if it had, it did not work), so after any kind of warm showering the bathroom was quite moist to a point that even the toilet paper gets wet. The shower also is kinda interestingly built - it has a glass panel, but it's length is clearly too little, because water gets easily out on the bathroom's tiles from the shower cabin. Mini-bar is filled only once and never again (this is mentioned in the booklet), however, we did get a refill twice (probably because we stayed there for two weeks). What I found odd, however is the fact that, if you want any bottled water (outside from that which you get in a mini bar once per stay), you're out of luck unfortunately - you will have to buy bottled water in nearby shops. First time I'm seeing this kind of non-sense, especially in a four star hotel. The main hotel building is large enough (has five floors), but its environs are quite small. You go out from the sub-floor to the pool area, you go some 100 meters and you reach their private beach. I'm guessing that 4 stars was given just for this fact, because, IMO, no, this isn't a four star hotel, more like a 3 star (out of curiosity I then began searching up the ratings for this hotel, and it was one hundred seventy something, while the apartments [which are not even a hotel] in which we stayed at was in the seventieth something place). The hotel has some over-priced shops, so your best bet is to either catch a bus to Falikari or just walk one give or take kilometre and find some cheaper places to shop around at. On a plus side, I don't know how they are during Summer,

Having stayed at the hotel 5 times between 2015 and 2019 due to covid we booked the hotel again for 12 nights on arrival which was late due to airport transport plus security arrived 00.30 hrs at hotel No problems with check-in at reception get keys for room which was on the 5th floor room was very good clean and tidy nice touch with kettle in room plenty of space for the two of us nice comfy bed also pillows if I had 1 gripe it would be the bathroom needs updating with walking showers also hot water temperature many nights water cold but with a Big but this didn't in any way make our stay bad we both had a wonderful experience and time during our 12 days holiday here once again never had any issues with any staff all a pleasure to see working very hard from reception /cleaning team / bar staff at all bars pool Natasia/Stavros with is associated staff in main bar we also would like to congratulate all the staff and manager of the restaurant who provided us with some wonderful food during our time at hotel now for the pool area it was always very clean and tidy but some lounges need replacing look tired beds at beach were better so to complete my honest review we both would once again like to take this time to thank the general manager and his team for our wonderful experience at the olympos beach hotel

Nice hotel with a few disappointments, firstly a very slow and disappointing check in with the hotel being overbooked and members of our booking had to be relocated for two nights but the receptionist decided to wait until the rest of us went to our rooms to tell them hoping to not make a fuss. Additionally we booked 7 days and nights but didn’t arrive until the early hours of the first night, meaning we payed for a day we didn’t use, we asked could we keep a room on for our last day as we weren’t being picked up until 8pm but got told no meaning we had to sit in reception for a dreadful 8 hours. Man in the pizza bar was extremely unhelpful leaving people standing when he was finished making pizza before his break. Although pizzas were nice. Additionally housekeeping came into our room when we had the do not disturb sign on with our belongings scattered around the room which made us feel uneasy. Food was okay the Sunday night dinner was there best with steak being offered. Only thing is food is repetitive with the same things being offered at both lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Food was not the best quality either especially breakfast. Gyros would have been a nice edition to the menu. Entertainment was not the best most of the time it sounded like drowning cats with absolutely no atmosphere. Daytime entertainment was horrific with the same music same games every single day. Taking up most of the pool meaning in the hot hours we had to navigate around a bunch of dancing grannies or get out. Additionally if your spending a lot of time in the pool maybe this is not the hotel for you with the pool being quite small and the bottom being dirty. One evening during our stay we ran out of toilet paper and asked reception for some more we got told they didn’t have any to give until the next morning meaning we had to go to bed and wait, the next morning we still received none. Maybe it would be helpful for the reception desk to have a storage of essentials for emergencies. You only get one room key meaning you are relying on your companion. The lady at the pool bar during day time hours was lovely as-well as the lady cooking at the live cooking station. Reception was always happy to call a taxi for you. Room was nice but balcony view was blocked off by the restaurants roof. Additionally higher floors seem to have a nicer room with updated furnishings and kettles. Although we have these complaints we did have a lovely stay and would come back for the price we payed.
