This is an old house that has been repainted and cleaned. It is called a hotel, but it is actually a B&B. The male owner is very nice, warm and talkative. He will recommend a barbecue restaurant he often visits, which is indeed a very good restaurant. The rooftop terrace is very large, and you can see the whole town and the stars late at night. The facilities are a bit old, so you need to bring your own towels, toothbrushes, slippers, etc.

Compared to hotels outside Kalkan - mediocre, no Wi-Fi, the hotel is a bit far, no special view of the sea (probably the main reason for visiting). For Kalkan - overall tolerable, considering the price. Personally, next time I would pay extra and choose something more convenient

Ali, Sarah and their children could not have given us a warmer welcome. We needed somewhere for the day before heading to the airport. Spotlessly clean, pool fabulous and lunch was delicious. It’s a shame we didn’t know about this beautiful traditional hotel before xx

Me and my wife have returned back to Kalkan and staying at the Lizo hotel for the first time I think it outstanding value and the meze and bbq food was outstanding couldn’t do enough for you best meal iv had in Kalkan The Turkish breakfast what they serve daily on the roof top is out of this world well done to Ali and family 🙏

My partner has stayed many times and advised we should have dinner one evening. We arrived to a fabulous welcome from ali and his family and made our way to the rooftop terrace for dinner. We chose the bar b q and left it to ali what we had to eat. Out cane numerous mezes that we could help ourselves to with fresh bread and ten followers chicken and lamb's kebabs. And food kept coming being encouraged to eat more and not leave hungry. This was followed by home made baclava made by his mother. Food amazing, the views to die for and as for hospitality? There was never a better one received during our two week stay than was received from ali and his family. If you want a genuine turkish welcome and amazing food, this is the place

5-Star Experience on a Budget
Fabulous value at the Lizo Hotel this summer. Ali "Mr Charisma" Ay and his parents made us feel so welcome, and we enjoyed taking advantage of the private pool and delicious home-cooked Turkish cuisine on the rooftop restaurant with great views of Kalkan bay.
Our rooms were spotlessly clean, each with air-con, a fridge and a sea-view balcony, and the location - a 15 min walk from Kalkan centre - was away from nightlife and quiet in the evening.
All of this at an incredibly reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Last minute break
Booked a last minute 3 night break to Kalkan. What a gem we found. Small clean family run hotel with the best view and the most helpful couple you could find. Just a short 15 minute walk into town. Located on the Kalamar Rd with a few bars and restaurants minutes away
We were sad to leave Ali, Sarah, Caleb and Jessie but will return.
