Sterling Park Kalimpong

We have stayed for 02 nights at Sterling Park Kalimpong from 22nd Aug'24 to 24th Aug'24. It was really a amazing time we have spent here. The room has a great view. The food is delicious. I will definitely refer to my family and friends to stay at Sterling Hotels.

Old n rustic British era property with great location, hospitality n food. Scerene n mesmerising Kunchenjunga view. On a clear day one may also see the Nathu-La mountain from here. Very close to raw Nature, green everywhere and paradise for birds watcher.

The property itself is very pretty with incredible views all around. The heritage room provided was exquisite from the room decor to cleanliness. The staff was also extremely polite and helpful. Even though my stay was for just a day, that day was truly made memorable.

A beautiful place, nestled in the hills, with its 125 year old history, antique furniture, century old vibes, it was very enthralling. Adding to the wonderful experience, were clean, well lit, spacious rooms with the best view of Kalimpong, comfortable beds, good food from the in house restaurant, friendly and courteous staff in the reception and the restaurant. The garden, in the front and the back garden, the century old vibes, plants, and flowers add to the natural beauty of this heritage hotel. I would like to add my warm regards and special thanks to reception staff Bhumika, for finding us the best rooms suited to our needs, helping us plan the itinerary for our visit, and making our stay so enjoyable.

Possibly the most horrible holiday experience I ever had at your Kalimpong resort.. 1) Day 1 .. Your general Manager behaved as if he was providing charitable accommodation. I politely enquired about a campfire being set up and he said no. The traditional response to what ever I asked was negative. 2) Day 1 Sat at your resturant for lunch after check in. The food came In 45 mins after I ordered. The preparations were undercooked. The tables were so dirty that I almost had to wretch. 3) Day 1 .. Asked for an additional bed. Was provided a mattress on the floor. Your housekeeper argued that I had enough pillows and additional one wasn't needed. Honestly I have never been to a jail, however, I hear inmates are treated better. He did give me a pillow after pleading my case. 4) Again Sat at the restaurant with my wife. The thupka arrives with a floating mosquito. Jails better. At least the food is hygienic. 5) Day 2 Dinner .. hungry so had to order room service. Food arrives in like an hour 6) Day 2 .. I see your suite empty and I say that I am happy to pay the difference to upgrade. Your know it all general manager says we will "adjust" and never bothers to get back with the "adjustment"

My experience doesn't sound pleasant at all. I booked for two days, including breakfast, but upon arrival, the receptionist asked us to wait until check-in time.In between we have taken breakfast.The breakfast buffet offered items like puri, chana, poha, idli, chutney, sambhar, watermelon, watermelon juice, aam panna, tea, and coffee, which we found tasteless. This experience repeated on the second and third days also only third day chola bhatura . For lunch, I ordered fish curry, but it tasted like mustard oil and seemed poorly prepared. When I tried to order soup through room service at 6 pm, we were denied because they were preparing for the dinner buffet. The restaurant table was dirty, emitting a bad smell, which affected our dining experience. The courtyard outside the restaurant was also messy with trash everywhere, making you regret booking there. ultimately, our money was wasted. I complain to the manager. but don't know he is serious or not .room was ok ok my room was expensive but there was no proper view.as I heard from other people there was no view from there room also.overall experience was not good.

I can't describe in words how great experience i had there with my family. There i got everything and every service on time properly each time. The manager person manoj ji is the one of the most humble and helpful *** i have ever seen. All the staffs of the hotel also maintain their best service always. Few of them i remember by name like: bhumika, rahul, sanjib da, sajan da, ujjwal. Other's name i just not able to recall, thats my bad. I will always recommend this hotel in all the aspects and sure i will stay here only if i can come to kalimpong next time. Thanks, surath samaddar

The three of us had taken two deluxe rooms. Rooms were spacious and clean. Everything worked. The entire property carries an old-fashioned charm. There is a front courtyard fronted by a verandah which is all very nice and pleasant. The service was prompt. The staff were courteous and cooperative.

Property was excellent. View was exquisite and stay was calm and serene. Staff was really cooperative to accommodate all ours asks as we travel-led with our 2 year old.
