Wat een mooie locatie en prachtige accommodatie. Zo genoten na een druk reisprogramma. Een warm onthaal door Aris en zijn vrouw en alle andere die hier werken. Gelijk het heerlijke zwembad ingedoken en elke keer stond weer netjes het eten klaar. We lieten aan hun over wat we te eten kregen en het was zo lekker en zonder er om te vragen hielden ze rekening met mijn voedsel allergieën. Ook laten ze je op een lieve manier weten om aan het milieu te denken. Vanuit hier kan je ook mooie uitjes maken waar Aris je heen brengt. Wij zijn naar de plantage vlak om de hoek geweest en dat heeft veel indruk op ons achtergelaten gelaten. Kortom een dikke vette tien. Wij komen hier hopelijk nog eens terug.

Wat een bijzonder mooie en gastvrije locatie! Het guesthouse is gebouwd door een Nederlander en dat zie je in veel details terug. Aris, de manager is een hele aardige man. Hij nam alle tijd voor ons. Het diner werd gemaakt door de zijn vrouw. Heerlijk… De kamers zijn ook echt top. Je voelt de romantiek. En dan het uitzicht op de tuin! De foto’s zeggen genoeg denk ik. Ben je op reis in Java, dan is het een bezoekje zeker waard!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Villa Rumah Senang. Nested in a beautiful area with an awesome garden, you will find a nice pool area and garden villas. The villas/ room are well equipped. The birds will wake you up in the morning. How great! We also had dinner in the hotel and breakfast. Both were excellent. A local dinner and breakfast with toast, eggs, fruit and even hagelslag. Of course you can also opt for a local breakfast. The staff is very attentive!

In Rumah Samang you will find an intimate accommodation. It immediately shows the rooms are tastefully decorated. All have an outside patio looking over the green garden. Rumah Sanangs’ owners and staff are very friendly and genuinely driven to provide a wonderful experience. We 100% recommend rumah Sanang.

Voor onze oversteek naar Bali 2 overnachtingen gehad bij RumahSenang en was gewoonweg top. Werden vriendelijk ontvangen en top gastheer en gastvrouw. Kamers zijn super schoon en netjes en je ziet dat alles goed bijgehouden wordt. Ontbijt was prima en voldoende en was er zelfs pindakaas en jam😊 Onze 1e avond werd er een verrassingsmenu geserveerd tw heerlijke gepaneerde kipstukjes in zoetzure saus(koe loe yuk)en dit alles met verse producten en toetje zelfgemaakte ijs en dat was ronduit heerlijk. Volgende avond hebben wij gekozen voor nasi kuning met bijgerechten en ook dit was heerlijk eveneens het toetje. Wasgoed is s’morgens inleveren en retour in de namiddag en netjes gestreken. Eigenaren ondersteunen de lokale bevolking zoveel mogelijk en is erg betrokken. Eigenaren zijn zeer trots op hun personeel en andersom ook. Top Top Top

Wat hebben we het hier goed gehad! De eigenaren zijn super gastvrij en de locatie is top. Alles is schoon en de tuin heerlijk rustgevend. We zijn nu een week op Java, maar we hebben nog niet zo lekker gegeten als hier in Rumah Senang. Ook het personeel is super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Al met al top!

This guesthouse is charming, quite basic, rural with a lovely pool and view. It was great to stay somewhere different to a hotel and had its own charm. Breakfast very basic but ok and dinner was cooked on the premises so there was only one dish. This was fine with us. Negatives: no mirror in the room and no instructions anywhere in English. Lots and lots in Dutch though... Biggest thing to know - they only take cash!!!!
