The Grange on Kalgan

Beautiful grounds with views and lovely house. Wayne was knowledgeable about the area.However, while he has lots of rules for the house he himself does not respect the privacy of the guests. As an example, he broke into the lounge room without having the courtesy of knocking on the door. He kept switching off the lights all the time when we were cooking in the kitchen. He didn’t say take your rubbish out but kept saying how he does not like the rubbish from the takeaway food we had purchase from woolies to a point that I felt guilty to take the rubbish out everyday. He put all his dirty dishes in the dishwasher and didn’t turn it on after 4 days , causing a horrible smell. All the kitchenware in the cabinet had germs from 100 years ago . When we asked him to open the rustic bar as he has advertised on airbnb he didn’t . He also didn’t put the fire on when we asked . In his advertise he talked about welcoming champagne for the guests which he didn’t offer, as well as the fire place, rustic bar which was not true. Water came from rain and the colour of water was yellow and he encouraged ( sort of forced ) us to drink from that water which we didn’t . He even called us rude for waking up early in the morning. Do not waste your money and your time.
