For what this is it's a terrific option in the area. This is an older motel but the owners are clearly upgrading it bit by bit; the bed was comfy, the towels were thick, and our room was spotless. The yards were full of flowers and - though we didn't use it - there is a nice little pool onsite.

Love this place, the changes are huge. It's clean & so comfortable it's just like being at a friends home. Kenny & Karen are so welcoming & friendly would definitely recommend to others. Location is great within a stones throw of whatever you may need.

My partner and I stayed here while being stuck in cyclone TAM and we booked a room and was able to enter the room early. Absolutely the most lovely owners. The room was spacious, warm and clean. By far the best place to stay in Kaitaia. Will definately come back.

Our stay at loredo motel Great communication. Easy to find with easy instructions sent by email. On arrival, the hosts were super friendly and keen to offer advice. Very welcoming. Spotlessly clean unit. I wish them much deserved success. I highly recommend

Room was very clean . Everything was as described. Quiet unit . Comfortable beds. Full size dining table. Very friendly and helpful owner. Would recommend loredo motel for anyone staying in kaitaia. Motel is well situated for exploring the north.

This is a motel which looks like it is in the process of having new owners who are trying hard to make it better. The couple who are running it are very friendly and helpful. The motel we had had two bedrooms and one of then looked like it had had rain or something as the walls were damp looking and not very clean. There was cooking facilities which was good as there is not a lot of places to eat out in Kaitaia. We stayed two nights but feel it was a waste of time. We did the 90 mile beach tour from Piahai and would recommend that instead of going to Kaitaia.
