Kaikoura keeper!!
Great view of the ocean In Kaikoura. Good location to easily walk into town and enjoy a meal at one of many restaurants. Our room was spacious, bright, comfortable and well-appointed. Delicious continental breakfast!

This is such a nice place to stay; so much space and everything is clean, comfortable and beautifully done. The host was friendly and very accomodating. The location is perfect; a nice stroll along the esplanade takes you to either Kaikoura town center or the pier. The beach is just across the road. Lovely breakfast on top of all that.

In The Bay (great name!) is in a very good location clear of the hubbub of Kaikoura town center and yet on the sea front with fabulous views. It was just as advertised with good, well maintained facilities and spacious rooms with well appointed bathrooms. Breakfast was fresh and very convenient.

We stayed in the Endeavour room and loved how spacious it was, as well as the view of the ocean from our room! The bathroom (shower especially) was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was so great! There was also a lovely little sitting area outside for us to listen to the sounds of the ocean while enjoying our coffee/tea/breakfast. We thought the bed was going to be too soft for us, but we still had a pretty decent sleep.
We did notice some dust and cobwebs in the higher corners of the room, but this wasn’t a huge deal to us, as overall everything else was otherwise clean.

We only stayed one night but Kylie, the owner, made us most welcome and gave us some useful information. Continental breakfast with fresh ingredients was supplied which was delicious.
