We got the large room, and it was very spacious and all amenities including kitchenete sets and utensils. There was a balcony as well. Car park is free. Location just across Whale Watch Centre round the bend. Good choice.

Kaikoura is not big, you can walk everywhere, the room is nice and has a small balcony, but the laundry is self-service and charged

Check in and check out are very convenient, the bathroom is clean, the kitchen is equipped with an oven, the location is good, overall it is very good, but the carpet looks a bit old and dirty

My friend's room was on the first floor. She said there were no bugs. Maybe our room was on the far side of the second floor and could easily attract bugs.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was full of small flying insects and not clean.
The space is quite large and the location is easy to find.

I booked a twin room and was given 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. But it was clearly stated that if I needed to use another twin room, I would have to pay extra. The living room was connected to the bedroom with a big bed, so I could only use the big bed. There were kitchenware in the living room, so I could cook my own food. The check-in waiter was also very enthusiastic and told me where to have fun and where to eat.

The room was ok, but the service was bad. They warned us not to cook or we would be fined. But the room facilities included a kitchen with cutlery and a microwave, so why didn't they let us use it?
