This campground is fabulous. Large sites, clean and tidy facilities. Kitchen well stocked with essentials. Very friendly staff and the river running around the park is an added bonus. We had a very relaxing stay and are sure to visit again! Very close to Kai Iwi Lakes as well.

We stayed 1 night in ensuite cabins at this lovely old-fashioned kiwi camp ground. The atmosphere was great. We were made very welcome & thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay

We travelled as a family of 4 with two tents, my son and his partner and me and my daughter in the other. Finding the site was easy, however the reception was not very good for my 2degrees phone. Couldnt use my phone to call out either unless your go out of camp to get good signal and reception. The location is beautiful but you need to slow down as you get closer to turn into camp, it is around a bend on the road.
