鹿児島市内、繁華街ど真ん中にあるかごしまプラザホテル天文館です。 連休中でしたが、物凄く安く宿泊できました。 シングル禁煙(12平米)です。 部屋は機能的でwifiのつながり良かったです。 ロビー無料でコーヒーや紅茶等のドリンク頂けます。 アルコール消毒も各フロアに設置してあり安心でした。

2023年4月10日利用。 場所は鹿児島の繁華街でもある電停(路面電車)天文館の駅前で、バスの停車前にもありランドマーク的な存在だとも言えるかと思います。 確かに1階にはショッピングモールがあったり、最近のホテルという感じで、改装か新築された印象で館内は綺麗でした。 構造は7階がフロントで、8階から14階が客室。15階がレストランで朝飯もこちらになり、天気の良い日は桜島も見え、鹿児島らしい地元の料理が出た点では文句無いかと思います。 しかし減点となったのは以下の点 ●ホテルの車止めが無いところ 駐車場が少し離れたところにあるため荷物がある場合、どうしても車止めは必要かと思います。もう構造上仕方ないのですが、車で来た場合重い荷物を運ぶのにはやや辛いかなという印象を受けました。 ●提携駐車場がやや遠い チェックアウトの時晴れてる(雨天ではない場合)なら特段問題ないのですけど、雨が降っていたらややキツいかなと言う印象を受けました。 ●朝のレストラン 内容は問題ないのですが名物「鶏飯」(けいはん)目当てに来ている宿泊者が多いと思います。 しかし、補充が足りないというか出汁と米だけ残っており、具材補充の頻度が遅いかなという印象。 食材を大切にする気持ちは理解しますけど少し疑問が ●廊下の音響問題 たまたまなんですけど夜23時頃の話。 フロント階にタバコを吸いに行った時、廊下を歩いていると他の室内からですが中の音が聞こえて来たのには少し閉口してしまいました。 場所柄もあるのか解りませんが所謂オトナのお遊びの音なんですけど、防音はもう少し何とかして欲しいかなと感じました。 色々書きましたが、基本室内もレストランも綺麗ですし鹿児島では悪くないレベルのホテルかと思います。 確かに鹿児島では城山とかサンロイヤルが有名ですけど、便利性、値段を勘案するとこの先良いホテルになるのではないかと期待しております

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

The rooms are not very spacious. There is a simple desk, but it is a chair without a backrest. There is a small refrigerator, but it is not very good at cooling drinks, so I don't think it will be useful in the summer. I stayed here on a business trip, so it is fine if you only use it to sleep.

It locates near the bus terminal and Kagoshima Chuo Station, there is a Lawson at G/F. Airport bus can stop at the entrance of the hotel. It is very convenient for travelers. The room is cozy but not very spacious, though it is a good choice for short stay for several nights.

Convenient location, especially if you arrive in Kagoshima by JR or the Shinkansen - obviously, as this is a JR Kyushu Hotel. However, there is no bathtub, and there are no hot spring facilities at the adjacent roadside station, so as a Japanese person who prefers bathtubs, I feel a little unsatisfied. The multipurpose lounge on the first floor was very calm, well-designed, and very comfortable. Here, they provided free services such as coffee and miso soup, as well as a microwave and toaster, all of which were of good quality. It can be made of paper, so I think it will be easier to use if you have cutlery such as plates, spoons, and chopsticks.
