This place shouldn't be operating. Our first day we were in an old apartment absolutely disgusting, all bedsheets were dirty, there was no hot water to take a shower in the morning. On our second day they finally put us in the bedroom we have booked, it was as dirty as before and suddenly there was people in our balcony. We spent 2 days sharing a towel, they didn't have more. Shower in both rooms didn't work properly and there was no pressure in shower water at all.

Where to start! The hotel is actually located in Giza, NOT Cairo The hotel is surrounded on all sides by building sites. The work goes on all through the night and was still going on at 3 and 4 in the morning. The hotel itself is partly being demolished and rebuilt, and they only have one floor operational. When we arrived we had no towels,no toilet roll and no hairdryer, we asked for towels and were given one large and one hand towel between two of us, when we asked for more the next morning we were told no. I asked for a hairdryer, which blew up,gave me an electrical burn, and fused all the lights in the room. We then had to buy our own toilet roll after asking numerous times for some. We went to Luxor for two days and left our key for our room to be cleaned when we came back we now had one towel between the two of us,no clean sheets and the only cleaning that had been done was the bed made. The area around the hotel can only be described as a slum and it is risky to walk around. There are no restaurants, coffee shops or parks anywhere near. Some of the staff were friendly others were pushy (to gain a tip) On our last night we were called at 9.00 pm to go and pay the bill to be told the machine wasn't working and we had to pay cash, when we refused we were told that the hotel staff would walk to an ATM with us. When we again refused the card machine then started working! This hotel completed ruined our holiday and we are making a formal complaint with ***********

Uncomfortable rooms with no windows and no room service facilities. The bathroom was so dirty and smelly. The rooms require maintenance and lack basic facilities. Unfriendly staff at reception, staff serving breakfast are more favourable towards white tourists handing them banana's and bowls of falafel from the kitchen and leave the rest of the containers empty for other tourists which was disgraceful to see! Staff on terrace keep a watch on how much you eat and stand there observing everyone which is uncomfortable. Overall, good hotel location and view of the pyramid from terrace but rooms are not worth the money. Would not recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a comfortable stay in Cairo!!

It's risky. Either you love it or hate it. But there is NO transfer from the airport to the hotel. It's listed but acorrding to many reviews and our personal experience, it's not. Best thing to do is to book an uber it's only like 12 dollars. If you decide to get a taxi confirm the price before hand. The uber was 233 EGP just to give you an idea but we had terrible cell service so we got a taxi for 300 EGP. The location is also hard to find. I had downloaded Google maps before we went so that helped a million. I ended up looking for the KIA motors that's next door. As far as the tours go they are definitely overpriced. I think it's alot of peoples first stop and your trying to figure things out. So get an idea of the price before you book so you can negotiate. For example we looked into trip advisor for trips and then asked the hotel. There's a big difference but at least you won't get ripped off if you decide to book with them. We kind of go with the flow so when we arrived they gave us a room w 3 twin beds but needed a queen. The next day we changed rooms, but it's true about the towel situation so when we moved rooms we took the towels to the new room. In both rooms the towels were old and the sheets were stained don't try to complain about it, they don't care. Breakfast was better than expected so that was nice. But of course like I said we aren't too picky. If you are looking for a nice place to attend to your needs this is not the place for you. If you want a cheap place for an in n out and aren't picky this is it. As far as the staff we got along great with them because of our broken Arabic they got a kick out of it. But over all they seem busy but kind. It seems like there are only 4 rooms with the pyramid view so I think they will give away the room to someone else in a pinch. So if you decide on that room, waring!!!! You might not get it. BUT the roof top has a wonderful view. As far as the tipping in Cairo (in general) goes you will feel robbed unfortunately. So maybe start off really really really low because they WILL ask and ask and ask till you literally feel robbed it's terrible and you feel terrible too. So sad. If you are in a budget Be strong tip low, it's better than nothing. And you tip everywhere so it adds up quick!!!!

From what should I start? Let’s start from the pick up service, which looks like it’s a common issue for guests. We have been asked if we needed a taxi shuttle to the hotel and they booked it for us. Upon arrival no one was there and we ended up riding a random taxi which took us to the wrong place, he didn’t speak English and he wanted to drop us in the middle of the street with our luggage. When we arrived at the hotel, Sayeed came to us offering their tours and, since we didn’t know if it was safe to go around without a guide, we accepted. That was the begin of a nightmare. The taxi driver seemed to be lovely (at the beginning). We went to the museum and we had a guide with us which was very knowledgeable but honestly not worth it. On our way home the driver offered to take us to a souvenirs shop saying that this place has EGP prices compared to others and he took us there and kind of forced us to buy something. One thing that I have learnt from them is NEVER ASK QUESTIONS. They will take it as an advantage to promote you things pretending that they know the place very well and we’ll get a good price. For anything I was mentioning, even when I saw the carpet schools and I just asked information for simple curiosity, he was like “I’ll take you there if you want to buy some very good quality carpets” 😅 Anyway we also booked with them the ATV and one thing that I can recommend is DON’T GO!!!!! He took us to this very dodge place where skeletal horses, cats, dogs, cows and sheep were eating from the same landfill (If you get too emotional like myself, avoid it). We got on our quad and one of the guy came with me and my partner was behind us on his own. The quad did not have the toe in the wheels, the handlebars was meant to go straight but wheels were directed to the left and my partner hit a guy with his bike. We had to pay his bike although it was not our fault and we couldn’t say anything as we wanted to just get out of there. We went to the desert and we got through this street full of rubbish and little kids playing on the landfills and there was a police officer at the entrance that checked our bags to make sure we didn’t have cameras. We had our go pro which fortunately was hidden as otherwise they would have taken away or they would have asked extra money. When we finally got in the desert, the guy was riding extremely fast and for someone who has never done it before can be scary, also taking into consideration that there are no any forms of safety At some point they took us to this little oasis on top of the dune and they (of course) took our camera saying that they could have taken pictures for us but it was illegal so they were the only ones allowed to do it and then they asked for tips. We initially wanted to give 100Egp each but one of the guys was unhappy and he said that this money would have been enough to pay “the government” for our entrance.. so we gave 200 EGP each and he was still complaining. We took a sit on this

We had a late flight and informed the hotel multiple times we would be checking in late -between 11pm and 12am. The hotel confirmed this with us multiple times- including just before our flight. When we arrived to check in, the staff started to speak to each other in Arabic(which we don't speak). When we asked what was wrong they said that they had given our room to someone else. We were then told (by who seemed to be the manager) that they could give us a room but it had to be cleaned first. He then opened the door only to leave quickly, as there was already some poor girl sleeping there!! So it was midnight, we had just arrived in Giza, and now had nowhere to stay. The only option that the manager gave us was saying that 'there might be a room in our other hotel- but you probably won't like it.'The only member of staff who helped us was a teenage boy who offered us the WiFi password so thay we could look up somewhere to stay. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully our driver from the airport had helped bring our bags up and he found us another guesthouse for the night.
