Before you read this review and to put it in perspective, please read my December 2023 review on the same hotel. In that review the management responded by stating; "We are looking forward to seeing you back soon" I contacted the hotel about 6 weeks prior to our return and gave them our dates to which they replied "we look forward to seeing you " Perhaps those behind the scenes should liaise the guest relations team letting them know if guests are repeat visitors or otherwise ? Upon arrival we were met by our guest Yuliya who gave us a warm greeting and asked was this our first time to this hotel ? I want to start by saying that without the amazing amount of hard work by both Yuliya and Aruzan, the holiday would not have been good as it was, literally nothing was too much trouble and they made sure our every nedd was attended to... fresh milk and daily supplies of English tea bags to name but a few. After the check in formalities Yuliya showed us to our room and what a disappointment it was... much smaller than last years (we now know that one was a free upgrade to a family room) this year's room was dark and noisy. Yuliya explained that as this was now winter season the air conditioning,regardless of how low you set it, would only blow out hot air, but that we could open the balcony door and when she did the noise got worse.... 4 floors down were the air conditioning units that were on 24 hours a day... effectively meaning you can't open the balcony door if you wanted any peace.. Yuliya and Aruzan did everything they could to rectify the situation, the management offering an upgrade with a 25% discount....if last year's was a free upgrade...we declined... they did secure us not 1 but 3 free visits yo the al a carte restaraunts. On the Wednesday evening we were told that a bigger room was available should we want it...of course we took it and from there on in everything was as good as our first visit... It's a fabulous hotel with amazing food in all it's restaurants... the main restaraunt is buffet style and you will always find something g delicious to eat. Almost a hidden gem is the 24 hour Al a carte grill on the same floor as reception. Volkan and his team in there, serve delicious hot food cooked to order and served at your table... all the staff speak English throughout the hotel and are seemingly happy to assist. There were a few subtle changes from last year, in the Irish bar on the ground floor, you always got snacks or sliced fresh fruit with your drinks, not so this year...only in the coffee lounge were macaroons and biscuits served with your coffee... All in all a great hotel that is luxurious and spotlessly clean, one to which we would return.
