Courtyard by Marriott Colombo

The room was spacious, and the lake view was lovely. It's a modern hotel with tasteful colors and artwork. The front desk initially gave me a handicapped room, but for some reason, they gave me the corner room even though there were other rooms available. Later, at our request, they changed it to another room. The next day, the staff folded a cute elephant and placed it on the bed. Overall, this hotel is worth staying in. It's convenient, clean, and refreshing, and the breakfast includes calorie counts.

The hotel is located relatively close to Colombo Bus Terminal, Pata, Fort, and Galle Face, making it convenient for sightseeing around the area. There is a large shopping center below the hotel, making it convenient for eating and shopping. The swimming pool is located outdoors in the middle of the building, so you can swim while looking at the city. The hotel is clean and relatively quiet, but it is a mixed-use building, so the structure is a bit messy and it is not easy to find the hotel entrance.

The hotel is located in a shopping center (side entrance from the side). Every time you enter, all backpacks, packages and bags are checked. The room is clean, they give you 4 bottles of water. I don't know if all the rooms are like this, but in our room the only wardrobe was in the bathroom, and the shower and toilet were not separated from each other, after washing everything was flooded. Upon check-in, it turned out that the shower head was leaking from the place where it adjoined the hose with a very strong stream, the next day they sent a person who fixed it. Breakfasts are varied, but be careful with local food and salads that take a long time to prepare/storage, you can sit down with a white friend. Overall, the impressions are positive, the baristas even make coffee to go in a paper cup. If not for breakfast, then this will cost 1075 rupees. The lounge on the 9th floor is open and is on the way to the dining room (everything is in sight), behind the dining room is a swimming pool (in which no one swims). For a stopover for a few days, this is a great option due to its location, but don't expect much.
