Hotel Orion is located on the picturesque island of Kaag, which can be reached within 4 minutes by ferry. The ferry departs every 5 minutes, day and night. The A44 is 1.2 mi away and offers connections to Schiphol Airport in 30 minutes. The Keukenhof gardens are 5 mi away.
The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower. The rooms are basic furnished so that means there is no TV in the rooms. Throughout the hotel there is FREE WIFI.
Unfortunately our hotel does not have an elevator. Our rooms are only accessible via a staircase.
Guests can enjoy dinner in our co-owned italian restaurant Quattro. The restaurant is located at a 4 minuted walking distance.
If you feel like visiting the surroundings, the center of Amsterdam is 45 minutes away by car. Leiden and Noordwijk are 7.5 mi from the accommodations. The surrounding area offers many bike routes. The Hague, Haarlem and the beach are less than a 1-hour drive away.
Schiphol Airport is 11 mi away.

Helaas was toegang tot kamer een vreselijke buiten wenteltrap. Als je wat ouder bent niet te doen. Mijn hondje was mee en die durfde echt niet de trap op of af..die moest dus gedragen worden!!! Dit werd bij aankomst, na betaling, even tussen neus en lippen door gemeld door de eigenaar. Dus..bezint eer gij begint.. zeker als je je huisdier meeneemt. Ook was het niet mogelijk een warme maaltijd te nuttigen omdat de kok geopereerd was. Ook dat was van tevoren niet gemeld..hebben meerdere keren telefonisch contact gehad.. Heb bij vertrek mijn feedback gegeven, deze werd lauw ontvangen en afgedaan met 'een 2 sterren hotel heeft geen lift'. Ik ga in ieder geval nooit meer naar dit hotel met mijn hondje. Ik wens de eigenaar sukses voor de toekomst omdat ik sterk de indruk had dat ze dit hard nodig heeft.
