The Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki in conjunction with the Jyvaskyla Paviljonki Congress Centre is Finlands first ever city centre congress and exhibition hotel. The hotel features a choice of spacious rooms - a wonderfully relaxing sauna area - extensive parking facilities at the adjoining car park and fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. All rooms and public areas are smoke free and rooms on the upper floors enjoy stunning open views across to Lake Jyvasjarvi. All Suites and some of the Superior rooms are complete with en suite saunas. The hotels atmospheric restaurant is inspired by the Italian kitchen and complete with a wood fired pizza oven and a fantastic outdoor seating area where visitors are ideally place to take in the hustle and bustle of the Paviljonki Square and Jyvaskyla Harbour beyond. Ik weet niet waarom 'beachfront' onderdeel is van deze survey; ligt aan het water ja, maar van een strand is geen sprake?
Heel fijn bed en de rituals producten in de badkamer zijn geweldig. Ook een heel fijn restaurant in hotel en de 5 minuten vanaf het station zijn ook een dikke plus.

The hotel is situated right next to Jyväskylä event centre, also called "Paviljonki". The location makes this hotel a good place for business accommodation when attending the events in the event centre. I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday. There is nothing especially wrong with the hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. The beds could be better: they could stop using the plastic cover sheets over the mattress and buy new fluffier pillows. I would describe the location (Lutakko area in general) uninspiring concrete jungle. Vast asphalt-covered squares on both sides of the hotel. The area is filled with identical looking, brick-facade residential and office buildings. There is a busy road between the hotel and the lake. I've given this hotel the rating "very good" instead of "average" only because the staff is really, really friendly and the breakfast really good.

Non existent service at breakfast. There was a sign promising they serve coffee to table. We came to breakfast 30 minutes before ending of breakfast time. There were only few customers. After fifteen minutes wait, no service or any kind of contact from personnel even though there were not too many customers and personnel did clean other tables. So I had pick up coffee pan myself. Personnel also did'nt wish good morning or even look at us. Really rude and unwelcoming.
