I had an amazing experience at The Fern Hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations: Room: Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Food: Absolutely delicious! A special thanks to Chef Harvendra for the mouth-watering dishes and personalized attention – brilliant culinary skills! Housekeeping: Impeccable service and timely cleaning. Service & Staff: Very courteous and professional throughout the stay. Reception: A special thanks to Vashima at the front desk – warm, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfast was disappointing. All the items lacked taste and variety. The sambar and chutney definitely need improvement—they didn’t meet expectations. I hope more effort is put into offering better options and enhancing the overall breakfast experience.

1. Limited Variety: The breakfast spread was very limited. There weren’t enough options for guests to choose from. 2. Poor Taste: The overall taste of the food was below average. Most items were bland and lacked flavor. 3. Low Quality: Ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and the preparation felt rushed or careless. 4. Same Menu Every Day: There was no variety across days. Eating the same food every morning was disappointing. 5. Sambar & Chutney Issues: The sambar was watery and tasteless, and the chutney lacked freshness and flavor. These definitely need to be changed or improved. 6. Unappetizing Presentation: Food presentation was not appealing, which made it less enjoyable. 7. Needs Improvement: Breakfast is an important part of the stay, and I hope the hotel puts more focus on quality and variety going forward.

We had a truly enjoyable morning thanks to the excellent breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options — from hot dishes and fresh fruits to pastries and made-to-order items. Everything was well-presented and constantly replenished. A special thanks to Sumiya for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm smile and professional attitude truly stood out and made the experience even more memorable. The ambiance was calm and welcoming, perfect for starting the day. We really appreciated the cleanliness and the thoughtful layout of the buffet area as well. Overall, a great experience that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended — and we’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing and did not meet expectations. The food lacked freshness — there was no live counter for dosa or tea, and most items seemed to have been prepared in advance and left out for too long. The sambar was watery and bland, the idlis were hard and dry, and the dosa lacked taste and not crispness. Overall, the South Indian items, which are usually staples, were not up to standard. Additionally, the service was extremely poor. There were no staff members present to assist or attend to guests. Tables were not cleared in a timely manner, and basic things like cutlery, napkins, or drinking water had to be asked for multiple times. The overall dining area felt unmanaged and neglected. For a hotel of this level, we expected better food quality, more attentive service, and a well-organized buffet experience. Unfortunately, the breakfast left a negative impression on our stay.
