Julia Creek Caravan Park

We had a most warm welcome here and stayed in one of their cabins again it was an enforced stopover as the farm stay we had booked could not be reached as the creek was in flood. The cabin was well equipped and was very comfortable and was as we like things, very quiet and countryside nearby. The town itself was charming and its information centre gave us a great impression of what life was like in the 1800s

Amenities super clean and all you need available. More shade will be appreciated. But friendly and a beautiful park. If you explore the park you'll find a lovely seating area to enjoy a quiet drink gazing at our vast countryside. Romantic get away.

Nice level sites with enough room for the car and the van. Brand new/freshly renovated amenities that were beautifully clean. Perhaps the best we've seen. They also gave us free tickets to the local swimming pool (right next door to the caravan park). it was a much better pool than most caravan parks have. As well as a big pool it had a waterplay area with water slides and other water fun things. We were at the caravan park for the local charity fundraiser dinner. We actually won one of the raffles so it was a good night. Would go back next time in this area.

A fantastic reception at the office, they went out of their way to accommodate us and found us a site where we could stay hitched up for one night. The park is clean and the amenities are good so I would recommend this park. After walking over to the Artesian Baths to take a look we returned to the office to see if we could book in for a session and luckily there was a spot available for us at 4.00pm.

Once booking was made we drove to Julia Creek & found the caravan park (which was easy). As we were a motorhome and towing trailer & car, the owners made it very easy for us to park in allotted site. The amenities & park in general were of a high standard. Strongly recommend.

Great facilities, well managed. Lots of value adds for staying here as opposed to the free camp. Guests were allowed free access to the public aquatic centre next door, onsite mini golf, bikes available to use, courtesy bus (run by Julia Creek Hotel) does a pick-up from the park and the highlight for us, the baths. We had a 4-4:45pm bath experience and it was fantastic. Only feedback would be that we would have happily paid more to have a longer bath session and the wifi is provided via a code that you get from reception and only valid for 24 hour periods at a time.
