And despite what you might expect, it’s not that cold – around -5°C inside, which feels more refreshing than freezing. The staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to share the history of the hotel and how the ice suites are built each year. That insight added so much depth to the experience. As a couple, we found it deeply romantic – walking hand in hand through shimmering ice corridors, then stepping back into the golden midnight sun. It was the perfect blend of coziness, wonder, and connection. If you’re considering a visit, don’t hesitate – even in summer, the Icehotel offers a magical escape that combines Swedish nature, world-class design, and unforgettable atmosphere.
