Very beautiful view over the Sweden 2nd largest lake Vättern. 4km from the famus village Gränna with car ferry to the largest island Visingsö. The place is famus for the Swedish candy Polkagris. Other side of the hotel road it is a large Polkagris shop. The hotel main building looks like a middleage castle and hunting building. The bus to and from hotel is once per hours.

Nous habitons dans le coin de Gränna. Avec nos amis français, nous sommes venu à Gyllene Uttern boire un verre et admirer la magnifique vue et le coucher de soleil. David et l’équipe de la réception nous a très bien accueillis. Ayant eu envie d’un peu de fromage et charcuteries, le chef John, nous a concocté une planche sublime avec une sélection des fromages extras de Brostorp, jambon cru, olives et differents pains et à un prix très raisonnable. Nous étions gâtées et nous reviendrons.

Very nice place. Fantastic service. Got an upgrade on the room. Fantastic view over the lake and the breakfast buffet was also fantastic and all you can think of was there.

Ett hotell man inte får missa.
Vi bodde i två rum på anexet. Jätte fin utsikt och fint i receptionen och i frukosten. Jag skulle dock velat ha fler utbud att välja mellan. Annars var allt toppen.
